When I went to see Harry Potter and the Twilight New Moon preview came on, I noted loud enough for my friend to hear "Bad CG alert!" Seriously, that wolf looked like [parasitic bomb] and was animated more Chuck Jones style and how a wolf would actually move. It's like animators don't do research anymore.

And judging by your points, and how you said you're not very knowledgeable about this subject, it's pretty obvious that you haven't read very many comics. You seem to contradict yourself an awful lot.
