It's very easy to squander away several hours of your life as you have about ten or more tabs open on that site.

Oh guess what.  That guy's story is gonna go through another rewrite.  The only reason I haven't stopped him is because it would require me to commit murder, and that's illegal.

Books that should help:

Human Anatomy Made Amazingly Easy by Christopher Hart
Drawing Comics the Marvel Way by Stan Lee and John Buscema

Fingers, hands, feet... Those are notorious for being tricky to draw.  But when it comes to hands, an artist always has their free hand to reference from.  Unless you only have one hand, in which case, borrow a friend.

Also, get yourself a small library of art books.  Either coffee table art books for when you're short on ideas and looking for inspiration, or art instruction books.  Many of the books by Christopher Hart are a good investment.  I have several stashed around.  They'll give you instruction on areas you feel you need to improve and show you shortcuts, techniques, and styles.

He claimed he never wrote notes.  I've seen his "notes".  It's full-on prose.  It's unnecessary.  Needlessly complicated.  Waste of space.  Embrace the sentence fragment.  As I have done here.

It's just utterly sad.  The story is unoriginal, uninteresting, and poorly-written.

I've given up on trying to help out.  I mean, I'll toss the occasional suggestion or short outline his way, but that's it.  As far as actual writing help is concerned, I no longer bother.  It's now just a source of amusement.  Like a certain thread here.

It was supposed to be some vigilante justice story, and his one character was just some emo kid who was cursed with awesome.  Then he changed it to some flustercuck of everything he loved as a kid.  It was a mess.  A complete mess.  I seriously have no idea what the hell he was trying to write and I still don't know.

That reminds me, one of his sucktastic characters had a 12-inch wang.  You can't have a wang that's 12 inches long!  Wanna know why?

Because it'd be a foot.

It's a sad, sad story.  Sad as in facepalm.  And yes, he still wants to be a writer.  He can't write an outline, his ideas suck ass, he refuses to take writing courses to better his writing as his prose sucks, his grammar sucks, his characters suck, he was unaware that yes, there are still prose magazines out there, and yes, there is a market for vigilante prose novels, but he apparently hasn't set foot in a bookstore at all.

How the hell can someone not know how to write an outline?  I mean, seriously!  How can a person not know how to write a BULLETED LIST?!
