I learned that Audacity sucks.  Well, I've known that for a while.  However, I learned that it can make half-decent audio.

I also learned that my Greedo voice kicks ass and my Jozzel voice makes people hot. 8D

If you're into pyrotechnics and other dangerous things and really don't mind being homeless after your kitchen explodes... by all means, go right ahead.  Make sure to tape it and post it on YouTube so the world can laugh at such idiocy.

Ah, social Darwinism...  Thinning out the herd since whenever.

Star Wars: The Yavin Vassilika
Chapter One

Fully-dramatized audio adaptation of the comic series of the same name.

Yes, folks, it is done.  At least the first chapter of it.  My brother and I have been working on this since Christmas, and seriously, at first we had no idea what we were doing.  We had never adapted a comic to audio before.  And to make matters worse, all we had at our disposal was a cheap PC mic and Audacity.  But, we didn't let it stop us (though the next chapters are being recorded with a better mic and Audition).  We each tackled at least ten different voices, dealt with Audacity's frequent crashing and errors (and file corruption, argh), and learned how to make an audio drama.  Is it easier than a fan film?  No way.  Cheaper, yes.  Easier, no.

Anywho, without further adieu, I present to you, the first chapter of Star Wars: The Yavin Vassilika.

I learned that a mud wasp still lives in the burrow outside the door.  He doesn't bother anyone, so we leave him alone.

I also learned that the orb weaver spider spun a new web in the shed.

Hm... that isopod reminds me of what a friend wanted to use as a monster in his crappy story.  Giant relatives of pillbugs.  But yeah, he thought that even bigger isopods would make for scary occult creatures from hell.

I'm starting on Coruscant Nights II: Streets of Shadows tonight.  Last night, I had finished Prisoner of the Daleks.  That brings my summer reading to about five or six books now.

I've read thus far...

Coruscant Nights I: Jedi Twilight
Outbound Flight
Allegiance
When Gravity Fails
Prisoner of the Daleks

Well, technically, I believed even when one image was proven to be a hoax.  But still.  Take THAT all you disbelievers!
