Colin Baker was horrible too.. >>

I find him to be much better in the audio.  He's taken the Doctor in his own direction with the audio.

I got a card from my grandpa.  All holiday loot, though, I reserve for Christmas Day, no matter how early it arrives.  So, after Christmas, I'll list it.

It'd be better to keep the characters ageless and timeless, or really drag out the years.  But, multiple retcons and relaunches work fine, too.

Ah, retcons...  Boy, am I ever familiar with retcons...

But for an ongoing series that is intended to be timeless and accessible to a large audience, it is more preferable to not have the characters age.

I edit a wiki about a fictional space opera.  So, yes.  Nothing wrong with it, though.

There are very few comics and series out there in which real time as we know it affect the characters.  Aging the characters in real time with the audience limits the series and changes the characters.  To keep a series accessible to an audience for as long as the series will last in syndication, it is preferable to just not have the characters age.

It could be, but the pic's just a generic temple with a generic statue of a generic hooded figure.

Went down to my local CareerLink office and updated some information.  Then I ran some errands.  Tomorrow it's phonecall time and postal time (for mailing stuff, not going nucking futs).

We seriously need a Starfox movie.  With those puppets.  That would be [tornado fang]ing awesome.

I had a weird dream last night that involved a red-tailed hawk.  The hawk was in a tree and as I went by it, it flew off the branch and landed on my arm.

Then today, on my way into town, I saw three red-tailed hawks.  One flew across the road, another was in a tree, and the third was on the telephone wire.  I thought about that dream I had and wondered if it meant I'd see all those hawks.  Then, while doing some Christmas shopping, I decided on a whim to go to Gertrude Hawke Chocolates and get me some chocolate.  Only after I was back in the parkinglot did the correlation between that dream and Gertrude Hawke hit me.

I guess the dream was a sign of delicious chocolate.

Just remember, I only draw anime/cartoons. Not just realistic stuff.

Even so, there are still rules a cartoonist has to follow.  Even those "How to Draw Manga" books will cover all the same basic rules of anatomy and proportion.  I have an animation book that covers anatomy and proportion.  It doesn't matter the style, there are still guidelines an artist should follow.

Unless you prefer to draw abstract, then consider researching Picasso.

Also, so YOU were the one who made that CG Lego Sigma?

Heh, yep.  Made that for a class assignment.  I rigged him, too, but since I didn't model him properly, his weight maps are all screwed up and i can't use him in animation unless I remake him.

Today's oekaki, despite the problems I was having with it.

And a character design using Emma Watson as a model as the original sketch looked sorta like her to begin with.

I dealt with freezing rain and really irritating problems in the oekaki.  Really.  Irritating.  Issues.  REALLY.  [tornado fang]ing.  IRRITATING.  PROBLEMS.  Oh, and I also went into town and got a few things, then came back, got a shower, and found that we are out of soap.  Wish I knew that when I was in town.

I still need to finish my Christmas shopping.  Hopefully tomorrow or some other time this week I can go.
