This is seriously an awful image.

Where do I begin?  The perspective is a bit wonky, the anatomy is awful, and what the hell is up with Bullseye's arms?  His left (your right) arm must be going through Daredevil's shoulder in order for that to work.  And they are not posed naturally.  When you flop forward, do you twist your arms around like that?  Daredevil also has no crotch.  His shoulders are deformed and immaterial, considering that Bullseye's arm can pass right through it.  It's seriously an awful image.

What all problems can YOU find? :D

Today was long.  We went shopping.  We got a water filter for the kitchen sink.  We also got six rolls of black duck tape for our costume.

This evening, I watched The Big Store.  Nothing like closing out one's day with some classic Marx Bros.

Got some lines redone for another scene in Yavin Vassilika this morning.  Then, we went shopping.  Then, we came back, ate Old Bay buffalo wings and watched The Big Store.  Ah, the Marx Bros...

Let's see...  Today was wet, dreary, cool, and misty.  I loved it.

I went to the convenience store dressed for a job interview, only to be told that the manager isn't looking at applications until next week.  But, it at least shows that I'm serious about the job.  Later, I worked on editing Yavin Vassilika.  We got three scenes finished and added to the final track.  The fourth scene needs redone as Audacity corrupted the file during the save.  I need to add more sound effects to it as well.  But now, more characters have themes for their scenes.

Now I'm gonna go to bed as I'm tired.

From what I gather, it's more of nerd fantasy.  I've been tempted to give it a look for a while, but never got around to it.  If one took a gander at my bookshelf, they can see that my interests clearly lay elsewhere.  My manga section is very small, while my graphic novel section is dominated by DC and Star Wars.

Hot, humid, with allergies going haywire, so my day was punctuated by bouts of sneezing, sniffling, and coughing.

Spider-man has gotten me so confused in recent years that I just don't care anymore.

And speaking of Frank Quitely, while I like his art, his people always look like they have pursed lips.  Half-lidded eyes, pursed lips, like they're either smug as hell and needing a slap across the face, or they see something that disgusts them.  He seemed to favour that pose and composition for a while, from what I remember.  I haven't seen his recent stuff, though.  He may have ditched that.

Cut your hair like mine.  Clip the sides and the back, and have the top long in the front and short in the back and the edges angled down to the chin.  Part to one side and viola!  You'll have Ed Furlong's hair. XD

Time for a sketch dump since I had a chance to scan a bunch of stuff today!

Just a musculature study using the pose off my Speed Racer shirt.  Yay, drawing with a reference that is upside down...

These two were drawn late at night, hence why the one on the left has a huge head.  They were mostly costume designs, some musculature, and linework exercises.

Ah, the ladies...  The one on the left was a facial study for the girl in After the Raid.  The one on the right used to have bare boobies, but I covered them up in case these end up going with me to a possible artist-in-residence stint.  Gotta keep some sketches PG-13 at least.

Some more women facial studies.

And more women facial studies.

Another foreshortening exercise, with the proper way to hold a gun, so for future reference Zuckuss won't be wondering how dirt got in the inside of the scope.

That's it for now til I go on another scanning spree.

I walked smack into the bathroom door today.  The only casualties were my knee and my dignity.

Then we got pizza with black olives.

Larfleeze will... share?  It's going to take alot for him to do so, and I can prolly guess what that will entail.

Nope. Get into some other comic instead. Anything Vertigo, Marvel Cosmic, Brightest Day-related... anything but "event which obviously is gonna either kill Daredevil or change him for a coupla years so in return, we gotta lower a hero to his standards, and that means ruining Nova or some other guy".

Already following Brightest Day, GL, GLC, Outsiders, Flash, Star Wars: Invasion, and Deadpool, so I'll just keep on going with those. XD

Anywho, speaking of Brightest Day...  I wonder if Johns will ever reveal Larfleeze's motto.  Perhaps what has transpired in a recent issue will lead up to that.  Or, we may never know it because it's more fitting that Larfleeze never share it, the greedy lil Muppet.

Yeah, I was gonna ask about that.  I got one of the promo posters as a freebie with my latest comic purchases.  Is it worth checking out at all, or should I avoid it at all costs?

That explains the "Shitmuffins" text I got this morning.

Anywho, my day was meh.  Though, it was interesting in one aspect; a Star Wars author, Joe Schreiber, works as a radiology technician at a local hospital and I seem to recall a rad tech that resembled him handling the films for my chest x-ray a couple years ago.  Heh, next time I need a chest x-ray, I'll request him so he can sign my copy of Death Troopers.
