Nice.  Any relation to the Emerald Warriors series that just started, or is it in name only?

Perhaps it's a Nerf gun.  Larfleeze should totally have a Nerf gun.

Is he holding a bottle of beer? XD

And what would truly make that even better is if DC decided "Hey, let's make an animated version of it!"

[tornado fang] yes!  If I can get to the store this evening, I'm gonna do the same.  Or at least tell the clerk to add it to my subscription service.

I told my brother that he'd be happy with the next issue as he loves the Black Manta.  Too bad he hasn't started reading the comics yet.  Getting him to read them will be tough as he has alotta catching up to do.

Oh, and while I was getting my comics, the clerk mentioned a planned Larfleeze Christmas Special.  That totally made my day.  Hell, what would be super awesome is if it were animated.

My Sci-Fi Art: A Graphic History book is falling apart.  Damn cheap book binding glue.  Got any suggestions on how to repair it?

Random fact:  I don't watch TV.

Seriously.  I don't watch TV.  We have a TV, but it's not hooked up to cable, or satellite, or a converter box, so we don't get stuff through the antenna, either.  The TV's used to watch movies and play games, and even then, that's an at most once-a-week occurrence.  So therefore, I don't watch TV.

So it's read as if it were spelled with an "e" at the end?

Yep.  Only my family pronounces it that way, as it was shortened from I think Rothenharen (or some such spelling).

Sketch dump time, since I scanned some things.

Some male facial studies.

Some female facial studies.

Because Catholic schoolgirls tend to be a crowd-pleaser.

And for no real reason, here's a duck tape Donald Duck mask I slapped together in an afternoon at a local magazine publisher.

I've had this scanned in for a while now.  Just a shading exercise that I may do something with someday.

I plan to scan in some more sketches tomorrow.

Only Germans can pronounce my surname properly.  It's "Roth."  And the o is long.

Yet, everyone around my area cannot seem to comprehend that.

I'm beginning to wonder if Joe "Quesadilla" was ever truly a nerd.  Perhaps he was a jock or a bully and therefore cannot seem to understand nerds.

#Models must be user-generated, including bipeds.

<big>OR</big>

#If using a program-generated biped (such as in Daz Studio), the texture map MUST be user-generated.
#Supply the texture map, if possible.

Uh... just some tweakings to the rules of an image contest I'm working on.

Zuckuss made use of a specialized respirator, which allowed him to breathe ammonia in oxygen-rich environments. Zuckuss also equipped a heavy set of battle armor under his heavy cloak to protect his body while on missions. He would also don a computer and a sensor array, which he hung on straps around his neck.

Zuckuss's primary weapon was the GRS-1 snare rifle. It was capable of hitting targets up to 150 meters away with liquefied shockstun mist, which hardened into a translucent web upon contact. Zuckuss also occasionally used the BlasTech W-90 concussion rifle, and was also proficient in the use of stun grenades, vibro-blades and a wide variety of other blaster pistols and blaster rifles.

Zuckuss made use of two ships throughout his long career. The first, used during the hunt for the Yavin Vassilika, had an extremely fast hyperdrive that rivaled that of the Millennium Falcon. It beat the Falcon numerous times during the race for the Yavin Vassilika. After his reunion with 4-LOM, Zuckuss acquired a new ship, dubbed the Mist Hunter. The ship was manufactured and modified by Byblos Drive Yards and was commissioned by a group of Gand businessmen. A 15 meter G-1A transport, the ship proved effective for Zuckuss. It made use of special repulsorlift technology developed for cloud cars, such as those on Bespin. Later, the Rebel Alliance heavily modified the ship, bringing it closer in capacity to a recon ship. Smuggling compartments capable of carrying eight beings were installed, along with a sensor mask, tractor beam, and various weapons upgrades.
