If I recall, oatmeal baths are good for poison ivy.  Also, jewel weed.  It often grows in swampy, wet areas and the plant juice helps poison ivy and nettles.  You pick a nice, thick stalk, slice the stem to open it lengthwise, and smear the juice all over the affected area.

I have to make another trek into town for some milk.  I'm not real happy about it.

Those cannons are real.  And old.  Very old.  They're no longer practical for battle, but they're maintained and kept on the Battlefield.  The green coloration is the patina from being exposed to the elements since the Civil War.
