Greedo is now a level 4 Trickster thief in Wizardry 6.  Though, sadly, he still could not drink Captain Matey under the table.  Yet.

Our front door is ready for Halloween.  Ready and hungry for costumed hooligans.

I concur with that.  It is preferable if users would refrain from spamming up this thread.

I watched Shadows of the Vampire tonight.  I liked it, interesting take on the filming of Nosferatu.  And the DVD included a trailer for Begotten!

A doctor, an architect and a lawyer were having an argument over which one of them had the best dog. They decided to get the dogs together and whichever dog could perform the best trick would be the winner.

The doctor decides to go first and says, " Okay Rover, do your trick." The dog goes over to the table and performs a necessary C-section on a cow with the cow and calf coming out in great condition. Everyone agrees that this is a good trick and the doctor gives his dog a cookie.

Next, the architect decides that it's his dog's turn to perform his trick and tells his dog, " Go to it, Spot." Spot goes over to the table and constructs a full-scale replica of Notre Dame Cathedral out of popsicle sticks. Everyone agrees that it's a good trick and the architect gives his dog a cookie.

The last one to go is the lawyer. He tells his dog, " Okay Fella, do your thing." So Fella screws both dogs, takes their cookies and goes out to lunch.

Badum-TISH!

Dengar as a ranger?  Yep.  And he can't hit anything with those arrows.  I'm hoping that at level five, they start to become somewhat competent...

Wizardry 6: Bane of the Cosmic Forge

With the following party members, each with their own custom-edited in-game portrait:

- Bossk: Lizardman Fighter
- IG-88: Mook Fighter
- Greedo: Hobbit Thief
- Dengar: Human Ranger
- 4-LOM: Felpurr Bard
- Zuckuss: Faerie Alchemist

The party members are currently at Level 3, with Dengar and 4-LOM just starting to learn spells (Rangers using the Alchemist spellbook and Bards using the Mage spellbook).  Zuckuss learned new spells at Level 2 and can now cast up to seven spells per battle as his stamina drops like a stone.  Greedo has successfully disarmed two traps and picked two locks.  Dengar utterly sucks ass with arrows, so he spends battles building up his ninjitsu by hiding.  Bossk has all the personality and charisma of a rock and can break doors down.  IG-88 can't hit anything if his life depended on it.

Yeah, they suck.  But the game's fun.  And I cheer when they hit something.  And that should help to explain the origin of this sketch that I posted in my thread yesterday.

While outside on the back porch, my brother and I saw our landlord pull up to our neighbours and get out.  My brother wondered why the landlord stopped by, and I idly remarked, "Perhaps he's putting up eviction notices."  Ringman says, "Well, he was carrying some papers..."  My attention is seized. "Really?"

We watch the landlord leave, then, under the guise of taking the recycling to the curb, we go downstairs and sneak a peak at their doors.  Sure enough, papers are posted, with what appeared to my myopic vision to be "NOTICE OF EVICTION" emblazoned across the top.  We snicker and hurry upstairs.

O frabjous day!  Callou callay!

If I get more pumpkins, I plan to paint more of them.  And those pumpkins will stay where it's safe.

Hey folks, Halloween is fast approaching, so this is as good a day as any to resurrect this topic back from the dead.  Got any plans this Halloween?  Working on any costumes?  Intend to attend a party?  Gonna go trick-or-treating?  Gonna hand out candy?  Gonna hide in the hedge and spray kids with the garden hose?  Halloween, hell the entire month of October for that matter, is the only time where people can cosplay and not be at a convention and have it be sorta socially acceptable.  So, use that to your advantage!
