Hoo boy, lots of stuff happened in Wizardry today.  Greedo got to exercise his thieving skills, so now Dengar has a spear that Greedo lifted, and Greedo has leather boots and leggings to replace his buskins and pants, which were promptly sold.  They fought some monsters and Bossk and IG-88 leveled up.  They are now at level 5.

The party encountered a large grouping of fuming vines, and during the battle, the vines put Bossk, IG-88, Greedo, and 4-LOM to sleep, leaving Dengar and Zuckuss to do all the work.  Dengar is thrusting that spear of his and Zuckuss is casting spells like crazy.  Then, Dengar falls asleep!  Thankfully, it was only for a moment (we decided that Zuckuss threw a bell jar at Dengar's head. "GET UP!  I'm not doing this alone!").  So, they continued to fight til exhaustion.

Finally, Bossk wakes up and promptly rips the [parasitic bomb] outta the vines. "No stupid vine puts me to sleep... AND LIVES!"  After the battle, Zuckuss leveled up to level 5 and learned Stink Bomb.  Then, he cast Cure Lesser Condition on IG-88 until his mana bottomed out.  4-LOM woke up on his own, and Greedo snoozed for a bit longer, then finally woke up.  Now the party is ready and rested, aside from Dengar and Zuckuss.  We're gonna let them sleep before the next battle, restore some stamina and mana.

Though, the race of Faerie has its disadvantages (Zuckuss's stamina blows and his carrying capacity is next to nil), they're immune to most magical status effects.  So, while everyone else could be snoozing, at least Zuckuss will be awake.  Dunno how Dengar escaped being put to sleep.

Today I learned that my brother busted the arms off of my IG-88 figure last weekend and didn't have the decency to tell me about it until today.

I'm sure you would have to appreciate and/or be able to do math on some level, otherwise, you'll be [acid burst]-poor.

Oh, I can do math to an extent and my math skills aren't utterly horrible.  I do math all the time.  But that doesn't mean I have to like it.

Another thing I hate: When someone messes with my stuff without my permission and ends up busting my stuff.  IG-88's arms are now glued in place no thanks to my brother.

You know, Solar...  You are 18 and therefore legally an adult.  Your folks officially lack the means to tell you what to do.  If you wanna go to the arcade, go.  They can't stop you.  You're not a minor anymore.

Dengar gained a level.  He's now a Lvl. 4 Ranger with the rank of Scout and he learned the spell Heal Wounds.

We swapped around some swag that they had.  Bossk is now carrying the goat's head and Greedo gave his skullcap to Zuckuss (Zuckuss was the only one who could equip it).  After defeating some rogues, they got some more loot.  IG-88 got a chain hauberk and a heraldic shield and Bossk has a bastard sword.  The heraldic shield, when invoked, increases one's strength, and of the people who could use it, IG-88 had the lowest strength.  Now that his strength is increased, he'll hit more often.  He doesn't miss alot, but he doesn't hit alot.  Though, when he hits, he hits like a jackhammer.

The party fought some slimes.  That was a hectic battle.  The slimes kept ganging up on IG-88, as of the front line, he's the heavy-hitter.  So, Zuckuss kept having to cast Heal Wounds on IG-88, then cast Stamina on himself just to replenish his stats.  After that, they got their second wind, and while the back line rested, the front line dealt some death.

The party returned to the magic fountain to replenish their stats, but either they used up all its benefits or they're now at a level where it won't work on them anymore.  So now they actually have to sleep.  The problem is, when they sleep, they age.  But, they're all still young, they've hit Level 4 (Level 5 for Greedo, gotta update his stats, still), and they haven't yet aged a year, so there's no reason to worry.  Zuckuss needs to replenish his mana anyway.  We can't let our main magic user go down.

Oh, and here's a screenshot of the game:

Yes, we hacked the graphics.

4-LOM gained a level in Wizardry 6.  He is now at Level 4, with the rank of Cantor.  He's learned his second spell, Armor Shield.

Dengar searched a large room and discovered an altar with buttons on it.  We have yet to figure out what combination to press the buttons in.  Greedo disarmed a trap on a chest and the party has acquired new treasure.  Greedo got a dagger with runes and gemstones embedded in the handle, and Zuckuss has some goat's head mask that we think might be cursed.  The head has an armor class of -2.0, and when Zuckuss equipped it, his health and stamina dropped a bit.  So, either it's cursed, or it's just too heavy for him.

Now THAT costume design I like.  Hearkens back to the old movies (motorcycle helmet and rubber ears, anyone who's old enough to remember these?), with a mix of Ultimate flair.

I just finished that pair of slippers I started last evening, then I designed a pattern for a pair of mukluks.  I'll be crocheting a scale version of it tomorrow to see if the pattern works out.  If it does, I'll make a pair of mukluks.

Until that bullshit sign shows up in my local paper, I'm still a Capricorn.  I sure as hell don't fit Sagittarius anyway.   No n00b is taking my Tropic!

Nah, that would be clichéd.  I just asked for a hug and he said "As you wish."  Vader was a foot taller than me, at least.  I came up to his chest.

Here's a couple more picks I took with my phone before I start nicking from Garrison Carida's Flickr.

Bounty hunters and a snowtrooper (perfect attire, as it had snowed) patrol Borders.

A stormtrooper sporting a mini-stormtrooper (wonder how Vader feels about that unauthorized uniform adornment...) gets his book signed while scouts and another trooper keep watch.

I hugged Darth Vader.  I also hugged a stormtrooper, Jango Fett, Boba Fett, and Zuckuss.  Zuckuss got hugged twice.
