Congratulations, what's your serial number? THX-1138?

None yet.  I'm still a cadet.

I retook the pics as best as my shitty camera will allow.  The next person to comment about how I need a better camera has volunteered to buy me one.

With a 3 3/4" Zuckuss figure for scale.

Yay!  Currently listening.  And currently dreaming about the ultimate comic reboot that if it happened, I'd prolly cream.

I learned that during the heat of battle with a minor demon, my luck sucks so badly that while trying to cast Ethereal, I rolled 4d6 and got ALL ONES.

That should do the trick.  Hopefully.

That's some amazing stuff there. I'm jealous! How did you pull this off (recommended tempature, materials, etc.)?

Sculpey, clay carving tools, and a toothpick rammed up Zuck's ass while sculpting him.  Oh, and very steady hands and lots of patience helps.  As for recommended temperature... For miniatures that small, about 5 minutes at 250 degrees in a toaster oven does the trick.  Just watch them to make sure they don't burn and try not to inhale the fumes.

The minute I can get a hold of a macro lens, I'm gonna take better pics.

...Now it suddenly demands I install QuickTime to view it.  What happened to the embedded Flash player?

Well, I sculpted and baked the two minis yesterday, then painted them today.  Then I snapped some really shitty pics and wished for a better camera.  Once I can borrow a camera with a macro lens, I'll take better pics.  But in the meantime, here's the figures:

They are both less than an inch in height.  Louie is roughly a half an inch, not counting blade, while brown mage Zuckuss there is about three-quarters of an inch.  They are half the height or smaller than a standard Mage Knight figure.  And I intend to take better pictures when I can borrow a better camera.

I have to say, despite how crappy my first RPG minis were back in the day, my latest ones are pretty good.  Pics will be forthcoming after they're fully baked and painted.

I'd do that while drawing.  Once you get into that trance, respiration is the last thing on your mind.

I learned that it is possible to burn Creepy Crawlers.  And that they stink like hell when you do burn them.

I'm still looking for a job.  The job market here is still so much [parasitic bomb] that it's nigh impossible.  Scan the classifieds for jobs that I'm not even remotely qualified for is kinda discouraging, as well as putting in applications to places that aren't hiring in hopes that perhaps, some day, they may need someone to scrub out the toilets in the employee washroom.  Ain't happening.  Not in this economy.

A cheap-ass toaster oven.  For Sculpey baking purposes.

Me too.  Thankfully, I have other toys to play with.

If the prices for Fett start dropping, though, I'm freeing him from his cardboard prison and firing that rocket pack!

Wow, people are selling rocket-firing Boba Fett for up to $110.  I'm keeping mine mint on card and in the mailing box.  That convinced me not to open the toy.

Will that help ease three days worth of gastrointestinal cramps and other unpleasantness?

Didn't feel like drawing them as they weren't important.  I wanted to draw the carriage, not the draft animals.

Oh, Louie is very much a heavy drinker. XD  He recalls being drunk enough to think he was a rocket ship, on more than one occasion.

And here's an ostentatious carriage I felt like sketching up early last night for no other reason than that I was waiting for my turn in the bathroom.  Gastrointestinal distress sucks.

Oh, suggestion for a future review... Ashley picked up an issue of Lady Mechanika, and I haven't looked at it yet.  But, if a new ish is out next time you two go out for comics, can you give that one a look-see?  I'm debating on picking it up.

I also noticed that Corona shares the same name with Star Wars artist Chris Trevas.  Coincidence or was this an homage to him?

What's up with the "Studica Skills" logo on the top pic?

I like the last sketch, though.  The expression is amusing.  Your linework is getting a bit tighter, too.
