Couldn't find the commando knife, but at least I got the katana blade.  I feel safer now.

We played a quest in 100 Worlds Story earlier.  It was fun, but after going on so many side quests, our characters had hit such high levels that nothing was a challenge anymore.  It was getting ridiculous.

Y'know, since you're on the ninth episode, by next episode, I think you can safely nix the "new" from the "weekly comic review" portion of the intro.

Got some works in progresses.

Started on the coloring.

And this unfinished pic is hanging out in my sketchbook, being worked on periodically.

When an insect pupates, it dissolves into a protein soup and rebuilds its body, and its brain retains its memories.  An experiment was done with moth caterpillars in which they were conditioned to flee from a specific scent.  After they had pupated, the moths still would flee from that scent.  That experiment is just the start on figuring out how to rebuild the brain.

I used to have a box turtle with only three legs.  She was a very fast box turtle, faster than the other turtles.

I may mute her hues a bit after the pic's all said and done.  Though, after looking at it a few more times, I'm not happy with the shading on the face and may redo it.  I'll play around with the saturation a bit, then decide if I wanna redo it or what.

Actually, what I may do is print out the linework without the colors (don't wanna smear the original) and break out my colored pencils.  Been a while since I played with those.

Wizardry 6, as usual.  Discovered another tower in the castle, there are four and they're all mapped properly.  Now, the bounty hunters are exploring the lower levels.  There's a room with a snake pit in it.  Our intrepid party is not very excited about venturing into that pit.

The sequel's effects will look awful, I can assure you that.  ID4 used the perfect balance of models and CGI, whereas the sequel will use all CGI.  The CGI for District 9 and Battle: Los Angeles look like glaring CGI, and ID5 will look no different.  You've seen one bad CGI starship, you've seen them all.

I miss the days of models...

Because I like to put Gands in weird outfits.

Sketched that up around 3-4 am last night on a whim, colored it today.

I guess I'll take the next page.  Drawing this one by hand, though.  Easier on my wrist.

Put some blood in this one (I had accidentally stabbed my thumb with my pencil).  No sweat, perhaps one tear (it kinda hurt), but definitely some blood.

My costuming project is currently focused on Greedo, and thus any and all costuming that I do will be devoted to that.  Possibly gonna be one of the most expensive costumes I would have ever built thus far, but dammit, it's gotta look good for the 501st!

God, I remember so wanting a jedi tunic and robe.

I still want a Jedi tunic and robe.  Hell, I have a pattern to sew a robe!

As for my lightsaber?  Blue blade with a Luke/Anakin/Vader hybrid hilt.

I'm on the fence about a sequel.  Part of me wants one, though the other part of me feels that it won't be as good and producers should just leave well enough alone. An awesome movie doesn't need a sequel to be awesome if it is already awesome in its own right.

ID4 was awesome.  I had some toys from the toy line (still have one lying around).  It was during a time when CG was used sparingly and properly and didn't look so glaring.  Filmmakers were still using models and the blending of CG and models was in a nice balance.

Though... the very thought that the invaders' computer were so easy to hack still strikes me as ludicrous.

I got a new haircut yesterday.

And if I look annoyed, it's because after dozens of pics and hating each one, I was getting frustrated and decided to settle.
