I feel your pain.  I've been working on a character design for someone for a while and apart from one rough sketch, the character's face has never looked right and her build is never right and I'm about ready to fall back on a previous design that remained consistent.

About the only gallery I maintain (if it can even be called a gallery) is my Failbook page.  I dump images there and leave.  That's pretty much it.

Hey, when you get a chance to send out invites, send one my way.  I've been meaning to move from dA (that I don't use anymore) to something much better.

Thanks.  I'm thinking after making my shirt, that I may post the design for sale on Zazzle.

Got a couple of fresh pics (made today!  No, these are not stale!).

First ever image of Shaak Ti.  Drawn in pen, no less.  Not just inked, drawn in pen.

And because I was able to crank out the design in a short amount of time, a t-shirt design mock-up of Shaak Ti.  The lettering was done by hand.

Yes, it's a Shaak Ti-shirt.

Hoo boy... Those MMC days are something I'll prolly never forget...  And with TFN's talks of moving to vBulletin, it's just bringing those memories back.

Anywho, welcome to the boards, MaJoR!  It's been an age, good to see you again!

I learned that the t-shirt I wanna make is gonna cost a wee bit more than I expected.  But, it will be a quality print on quality fabric, so it's worth it.

I'm thinking of going that route, actually.  I've been wanting to make a Zuckuss t-shirt, much like my Greedo t-shirt, so I may try some color palettes and bang out a design or two.

Posted on: June 28, 2011, 05:22:29 AM
And speaking of a t-shirt design ala my Greedo shirt...

The finalized version is currently saved on Zazzle, waiting for me to make into a shirt. :D

And now, elements of another image that I'm working on...

It figures that after I drew this darn thing that I find my protractor and proportional scale...

Helmet is a tweaked Radiation Zone Assault Trooper bucket.  The lightsaber hilt and the helmet are gonna be combined with one last image element that I need to draw for the final version.  It's a cover for a friend's story on SWFanon.

I learned that the weather hates me, all the storms bypassed my area, so the humidity stays.  [tornado fang] you, humidity.

There's bound to be a similarly-named version of it somewhere.  Hell, anything with lots of chocolate in it will do the trick. XD

Happy birthday, Anarchy.  You know what you need?  Ice cream.  Chocolate ice cream.  Extreme triple-chocolate Moose Tracks ice cream.  That will cure what ails ya.

Well, since Lucas is utterly in love with CG, if he can do CG effects for cheaper than actually building a set, he'll have everyone act in front of a blue screen, with stand-ins in blue unitards, while he sips his coffee and shouts "Faster, more intense!"

I've heard of it, there's a topic on TheForce.Net concerning it (which I'm currently hunting down), though near as I can tell... there hasn't been much said about it.  There's been quite a bit of discussion regarding it, but seeing as how nothing concerning the live action series has popped up for discussion on Wookieepedia, then Lucas has been either keeping a really tight lid on it, or it's simply fallen by the wayside in favor of the current TCW work and the Star Wars: Detours comedy show planned by Seth Green.

Concerning the live action series, I have mixed feelings.  I'd like to think that it would perhaps integrate some of the more minor characters from ESB, but I have a feeling that any bounty hunters it focuses on will prolly be just Fett.

I've dropped by a couple times, but I rarely post on the other channels I frequent; I'd just be lurking there as well.  I'd also have nothing to talk about, unless people wanna know what I do on Wookieepedia and SWFanon.

This may end up being just like RotF in which I vowed never to see the movie, ever, even if tickets to see it fell into my lap.  Interesting story, that.  Tickets to see RotF actually did fall into my lap.  I still didn't go see it.

   <Culator|Away>   Heh.
<Xd1358>   I suppose that needs a mention in the P&T.
<Culator|Away>   242 pounds. Or 17 stone, for our limey friends.
<Tm_T>   I wonder what NEGD would cost these days
   <TrakNar>   Cheaper than the CSWE.
<TrakNar>   And 242 lbs? Hm. I rounded up.
<Culator|Away>   US Air Force maximum weight for applicants of Porkins's height is 197 pounds.
<Culator|Away>   USAF maximum weight for fighter pilots of any height is 240 pounds.
<Culator|Away>   I find this all far more amusing than I should.

I heard from one person that TF3 may have revived the franchise.  I figured I'd check with you, first.  Now, I haven't bothered with TF2, so I'd need to compare it to TF1.  It would need to be dramatically better than TF1 for me to consider seeing it, and from what you've said thus far... I'm doubting it.

Well, I do use a mechanical pencil.  0.5 mm lead Pentel.  It produces a nice, smooth line with a moderate weight.  Pretty much my primary choice of pencil.

Just playing around with inking techniques, this time translating painted shading to ink without bogging the pic down with excess cross-hatching, the cover of Tales of the Bounty Hunters as a shading reference.

I'm hesitant to color this, as the colors might hide the inkwork.
