Ooh, snow!  I hope I see a white Christmas this year and that I'm not sick.

Today, I had intended to mail some things, but it was raining, and twelve blocks (six forward and six back) is just too far to walk in the rain with materials that can be damaged by the rain.  Tomorrow isn't rainy, so I plan to head to the post office then.

I'm also trying to avoid getting sick.  I've been sick for two Christmases, I'm trying to avoid being sick for a third.

I hope Corellian_Outrider appreciates nice ass. XD  Whatever gender Corellian_Outrider is...  Either way, that pose was perfect as it has something for everyone; lovey-dovey smooching for the ladies and a nice round ass for the guys.

In the meantime, since I am waiting for a holiday gift art exchange thread on TFN to post it...  I'll just toss the pic here.  This pose and layout should look familiar.

Basically, I was given the "secret Santa" request to draw Corran Horn and Mirax Terrick.  Doing what?  That was left up to me.  I couldn't make them [tornado fang] like rabbits, since that's what they usually do, so I just drew them smooching.

And gave Mirax a nice, round ass.  Jelly should like. XD

So, we'll have a movie version of a 90s Madonna song.

I still need to get gifts for people... and then mail them out.  Christmas always cleans me out.  I hope people like scarves and anything else that I can crochet very quickly.

Like dish scrubbers.

My housing situation is currently in limbo.  My caseworker doesn't know when I'll be moved, and the supportive housing program doesn't know.  It's right now a wait-and-see period.  I told them that as soon as they know, to tell me two weeks in advance so I can get some utilities (Internet connection) and get someone to help me move, again.

I intend to see how much it would cost to get it framed, so that way I can have a nice presentation when I sell it.  To sell it unframed would be unwise.  That, and the frame will permit me to jack up the price to the one I want. ;)

Man... That latte...  When the caffeine wore off, it wore off.  Like flipping a switch.  Time to crawl into bed and sleep in my usual drugged-up stupor for about ten hours...

How much are you charging for it?

Considering the size, and how long it took me to paint it (a week), level of detail... and from what I've seen paintings sell for (just prints of paintings), I'm not going any lower than $100.  From my own research, that is the usual retail price.

Prints around here sell from $40 to $100 or more.  For a print.  An original can fetch up to $200.  Star Wars.Com used to sell Glicee prints and lithographs for $89-120, depending on size and print.  And I've seen a Greedo sofa painting sell on eBay for $150.

I share the Joker's sentiment.  We lost a genius in comics.  His creations don't come around every day; no one can duplicate the success of the Joker.

Oh, and here's a goofy sketch I did while at the laundromat.

Now that I have softened the blow...  That Yoda painting?  He is for sale.

I has another painting!

The canvas is 14 x 16 and thus waaaaaaaaaay too big for my scanner.  I'll attempt to get a scan this weekend at Staples.

Does Topps sell Yu-Gi-Oh?  If they do... then I guess I'd better draw some and add them to my portfolio.  I was gonna concentrate mostly on the franchises that do sketch cards (which aren't playable).  Yep, only trading cards for me, I'd rather not be involved with the gaming aspect.

If they show up at my local Goodwill, I'll be sure to grab them.  I was surprised to see the Warbird there!

As one person said on TFN, if they don't hire me, it's a low-down dirty crime.

I'm after a Sketch Card gig.  It won't make me rich, but it will give me the title of Official Lucasfilm Artist, which is what I'm really after.  Considering some of the Sketch Card artists out there, I definitely have the chops for it and a number of current artists say to definitely do it.

Went to the thrift stores today.  I got a TMNT t-shirt, some BDU pants, a really big, heavy winter trench coat with corporal's insignia, and a Romulan Warbird Christmas ornament!

Score!

Topps?

DUN DUUN DUUUUN DUUUUUUUUUUUUNN!!

Good luck. You are going to need it, they are notorious for their card games with (mostly) confusing rules.  :\

They're also sneaky with their submissions address, so I'll be sending my five-by-eights to their main headquarters.  I'm hoping to be picked up as a Sketch Card artist.  It took one artist two years to get in.

Topps doesn't allow for digital coloring for their sketch cards (fine for portfolios, though), so I dug out my acrylics last night.

He's 3 x 4 inches.

Got a couple more pics.  Colored some sketches, preparing a portfolio to send to Topps card company.

That's what i said after I realized that there was no saving it.  And I was really looking forward to watching a DVD, too. :(

Anywho, I still have my cough and it's no longer in my throat.  It's migrated to a deep chest cough.  Looks like I'd better make a doctor's appointment...
