Steal that Sigma statue.  Display-only my butt. :P

Sigma seems like he'd be rife for merchandising potential; he's a villain!  You can't play a decent adventure without a villain!  Dammit, people, we want our Sigma!

They're still more fun to get in the mail than junk from Geico.  Or from Comcast.  Or from AARP.  I keep getting crap from AARP.

People were looking for better hotel prices for Celebration 6, as the prices quoted through the website were really high.  One person found a room on Choicehotels.com for cheap and I've seen rooms on Hotwire for cheap.  And like I said, I got a great deal on a room at the Hyatt (in the convention center!) for super-cheap.  Pair it with a flight, stay longer than the convention (at least a week), and you'll get a good rate.  Week-long stays offer the best rates.

I guess I'll need to get to the comic store... or start a subscription and have the comics mailed to me! :D

Have to tried booking through a different website?  I stayed at the Hyatt for OhayoCon one year and I booked through Travelocity and it was pretty cheap.

Let's just pretend that Enerjak no longer exists...

But, Wily teaming up with Robotnik sounds promising.  Wily has Quickman.  Quickman vs. Sonic.

You know that would RULE.

The problem may be that many of us are simply jaded and despite what we hear, we're still wary about taking a peek into the comics again.  Every time we think of the comics, we remember the corruption of the bad writers.  We remember Ken Penders.  We remember Sonic Live! and other things that make us cringe.  In a sense, we're shellshocked war vets who will need to be eased back into the swing of things, else we'll be diving behind a chair and looking for something with which to fight Enerjak.

I know things are good now and I've been tempted to start reading the comics again.  From what I've read, they're looking pretty decent.  However, I have no local comic stores and no way to get to any in the next counties.  And memories of Penders' corruption are still there. :|

Though, I am digging the art style in recent issues.

I was just about to post that!  I at least posted it in the Sonic comic thread.

I, for one, am excited about it.  While I haven't been to the comic store in ages, I've been reading the Megaman comics when I get the chance.  I enjoy the artwork in the recent issues.  Spaz was a nice artist, but his style lacked movement and fluidity.  The latest artist, though, has that motion.  The characters aren't so stiff.

Just saw this.

Your thoughts?

Me, personally?  I'm looking forward to it.  It may be what gets me back into this series.  I haven't read the comics in ages and I really want to get back into the series, but I just can't forgive Ken Penders for what he did to Knuckles.

I'm usually doing stuff elsewhere and lurking here with very little to say.  If I start watching the Who's Online, I'm usually just waiting for someone to post something.

If I get really bored... I hit up YouTube for videos of kittens.  Cute, fuzzy, cuddly, adorable kittens that I just wanna snuggle til the end of time.

Anywho, have some more before we return to your regularly-scheduled programming...

It's still hard to believe that it's been twenty-one years.  That would have made me... ten years old.

Gotta admit... I do laugh at the young'uns who think they can be all nostalgic about the series, when they were born when I graduated high school. :P

Continuing with the Tails in beach wear pic and because of the heatwave lately...

"...And here we have Sonic modeling the latest Armani three-piece suit for hedgehogs..."

And now...

Back to your regularly-scheduled programming.

Methinks I'll bug Carrie Fisher at Celebration 6 to sign this. :D

Blame the awesomest Sonic 2 hack ever.  And my brother, who has also been on a Sonic kick lately.  It's very easy to get sucked in. :P

I watched the video.  It's actually quite fascinating, if you're into the nitty-gritty aspects of biology.  It takes a more light-hearted approach to the subject.

Did you know that it's disproportionately large in relation to the animal's body size?

Congrats, Knuckles...

You're a freak. 8D
