My folks have given up on me, in terms of expecting grandchildren.  Now that my brother is married, though... they're looking in his direction.  And his wife wants kids.

As long as the pressure's off of me. :P

Occasionally, I'm asked if I'm married and have kids.  Well, seeing as how I have no ring, nor no kids in tow, then, no.  I'm not married, nor do I have kids.  I think it's when you hit a certain age, people start to wonder.  "You're getting up there, that biological clock is ticking!  DON'T WASTE YOUR EGGS!"

I don't ever plan to have kids.  I have a witch's brew of problems that I'd rather not be passed on to them.

Ah, so that's where he got it!  Good for you.  A sacrifice for the greater good.  I enjoyed that review.

Years ago, I found a turtle with a missing leg.  Compared to the other box turtles I've found, that three-legged box turtle was faster.  She could book it with the best of them, even though one of her hind legs was a stump.  I also found a frog with three hind legs.  Brought him home, kept him for a few days, left him go.  He seemed to function just fine.

Earlier, I found a frog with only one arm.  The arm wasn't a stump, there was no scar, the frog simply did not ever develop a right arm.

Though, that frog seemed to be doing just fine without it.  A bit clumsy, but he was almost fully-grown.

It's a small nexu rubbing its face against Cal's hand, like cats often do.

Nope.  Not yet, anyway.  I'll hunt around, see if I spot any giant rings or sign posts...

Anywho, returning to the topic at hand...

I bought some groceries and paid my Internet bill.

Bought some more groceries.

I also bought a cheap Vivitar digital camera and a 4 gig SD card for it.  This way, I'll have something with which to take lots of pics at Celebration 6!

Oh, I forgot to mention one of my purchases...

I bought three Chaos Emeralds.  Pics will come soon, once I can set up a better lighting rig.

Just finished coloring this one.

But first, a little back story... Cal Omas is an EU character that everyone is chomping at the bit for a picture of.  We're hoping he gets a pic in the Essential Reader's Companion.  So, in the meantime, we've been making jokes about he'll never get a pic, or we'll only see the back of his head, or he'll be at a masquerade ball, dressed as a stormtrooper, etc.  Essentially, we'll never get to see his face.

So, I drew Cal Omas.

Enjoy.

If it means that it streams better, then I'll have no complaints.

I found this fellow on the sidewalk at the grocery store this evening.

I've dropped by on /v/ more than a few times.  Other boards, too, that I don't remember.  But, it's been years since I've been there.

Mmm... Bolthouse Farms Green Goodness...

I used to frequent the hentai boards on 4chan.  They weren't so bad, from what I remember.  I mainly stayed away from /b/ and other places that people warned about.  I haven't been there in ages and really have no current plans on going.

Gotta love wacky forum software.  It's finicky and funny and freaking annoying at times.  I don't have access to the guts, so I can't actually take a look at how to possibly restore post counts.  Might be a good thing that I don't have access to the guts.  I might start... experimenting...

All in the name of science, of course.  All in the name of science.

Well, yesterday's debacle concerning my disappearing rent payment has been cleared up.  My landlord did indeed get my rent payment on time.  However, my handwriting was too messy to read, so it was accidentally posted to the wrong account. >.<

The matter has been resolved, however.  I needn't worry about it anymore.  In the future, I need to make sure I write neater.

It may have something to do with the forum software.  I think it's the same way with wiki software; even if a deleted article is restored, the edit count is not.

The posts are still there, near as I can tell.  Only, they don't reflect in the post count.

True.  It seems that the activity is higher during the day... when I'm usually sleeping.

That sounds like a challenge!  If we can post one hundred times each day, then we can make up the difference in about a week and a half.  Let's get to it!

Looks to me like it was merged.

Anywho, my rent vanished between me putting it in the rent drop box and my landlord getting it. :|

Oh, definitely look into sharing a room.  I got a room for free because I'm sharing, and even though I'll be checking out of that one before I fly home, I still got another room for next to free ($20 towards food and stuff).  You'd be amazed how many people are looking to share a room, and how many people are willing to put up with complete strangers.  Start a hotel-sharing thread or look for one on there.
