Good cripes!  Are the good sandwiches worth it?

Today I learned that not all Wikia wikis have Special:Protectsite enabled for the administrators.  No, the admins on those wikis need to beg Wikia staff to enable the function on their wiki.

What the hell?  You'd think that this would be a necessary thing for wikis!  It's enabled for admins on the wikis I administrate, but not on every wiki and you need to appeal to the Wikia staff just to get it?  Sense make this does not!

There's no cure for a stuck-up Wookieepedia user who struts around as if he owns the place...

...except for a good, firm blocking to remind him who's boss. :P

They left.  I'll just stick random bits of furniture in the parking spot to keep uninvited people from using it.

Why is there a car in the handicapped parking spot out front with two ditzy girls sitting in it for no reason, since they do not live here?  Should I go threaten them with my katana blade?

Epic.  Now, for my clipboard...

Not so epic.

Always the option of at the very least knowing what "yes" and "no" are and winging it.  I've done that with some... interesting results.  Those results usually doomed the game. :P

Well, since Topps is releasing their latest sketch card set this month, I prolly won't hear back from them until the development of another set, which could be a couple months or more.  In the meantime, I was told to send them stuff once a month to let them know that I'm still interested.

And until then, have some sketches.

Well, I don't see why not.  If anyone complains, tell them I said you could make the topic.  It can become a very informative topic.

One thing that might possibly help my memory?  If I had a sleeping schedule like a normal human, rather than being nocturnal.  On that note, the sun is starting to rise, so I'm going to bed in my dark room, where I keep the blinds drawn.

Vampiric, much? :P

High school honestly doesn't prepare you for jack, really.  Well, unless you're in some of the clubs or take AP courses.  Otherwise, the standard curriculum is focused nowadays on passing standardized tests.  No actual teaching goes on, it's all memorization and repetition, unless you're lucky enough to be in AP courses.

But, for us schlubs who get stuck in remedial classes?  HAH!

As for enrichment courses... I know of one academy that offers such classes, and they can be taken online.  But for something such as figure drawing, I think attending an actual class would be far more beneficial.  Lo-res webcam can't capture all the nuances of that nude model that you're supposed to draw.  Nah, this is something you need to see in person.

I'd like to continue or at least supplement my education with some enrichment studies, where I could just pick and choose the classes I need.  But, last I checked, not many universities offer such things around here.  If I want figure drawing classes, I need to sign up for a four-year hitch, and before I even get to take the classes I need to take, I'll be slogging through core requirements for a FOURTH TIME.  I like Psychology and all, but I've taken General Psychology three times.  And I've taken Intro to Drawing three times as well, and each and every time I've taken that class, I'm always asked, "Why are you in this class?"

Because the goddamn curriculum makes me take that goddamn class!

Love the plastic hair look.  More people should go that route.

Miami news station Local 10 called out for cyberbullying Star Wars fans.

This happened just after Celebration 6, which was in Orlando, and I have tons of pictures of, and had an absolute blast at.  For shame, Local 10.  For shame.  Needless to say, the 501st Legion was pissed.

Now, why am I bringing this up here?  It has something to do with cosplay.  Does this type of criticism happen with other cosplayers?  Or is it just the SW fans who are singled out?

And a bit unsettling to see a floating ball of blue light appear, move silently out of the woods, and then vanish as it got to the road.

Ball lightning.  A bizarre atmospheric phenomenon.  Basically, lightning in ball form.  It was just after a rain storm and I was outside taking an evening walk.  I saw this small, blue orb float slowly in front of me and vanish.  I had a flashlight and checked the area where I saw it, in case there was something there that was reflective, but found nothing.  I tried recreating the conditions and see if I could reflect my flashlight beam off of something and create the same effect.  No luck.  I dunno what the hell else that was, so I guess it was ball lightning.

Politics.  Politics, politics, politics.  Politics, politics.  Political talk and more politics.

:P

In all seriousness, commenting on how Clinton looks like rewarmed microwaved Barbie dolls is just fine.  Commenting on how he was seen in a campaign ad is just fine, too.

I drank a beer.  But, I can never finish an entire bottle (I'm weak, I know), so I dumped the rest.  Now my kitchen smells like beer.
