Man.  My brother is going to be in awe at the candy I have left.  Hopefully he eats some of it.  Hell, he can take some home with him!  Just get it out of my apartment!  I did fifty stomach crunches last night, and I'm going to do fifty more tonight, plus situps, plus my usual round of pushups!

I've been using my old computer for eight years now!  I'm hoping that I can get a new one in December.

Back to things that upset us...

Groceries eat up quite a bit of one's paycheck, more than one realizes.

Oh yeah. My father had some trouble with that. Heard it's really painful when they pass.

It's a horrible pain, if the stone is big enough.  My first one sent me to the hospital overnight.  Other ones... not as bad.  They passed without incident.

As for Firefox and its memory leaks...  I haven't had too much of a problem with it.

As for what's upsetting me...  Well, I'm still grieving over the Disney-Lucasfilm buyout, and the inane rumors are not helping matters.  It's hard to look at the Essential Reader's Companion now, knowing that the possibility of a good majority of the post-RotJ EU could be squashed.  Though, I am seeing some positives about the buyout, so I'm starting to warm up to it.  Slowly, but surely.  However, I am approaching this with a degree of caution.

And as for my left kidney pain... it's intermittent now.

Got some sketches.  Practicing with character likenesses.  I find Luke's likeness a bit easier to nail down than Han's, though I still need to iron out all the kinks.



Luke didn't turn out too bad.  Some issues with the mouth and jawline, but I'll hammer those out in other images.



Han turned out awful.  The only thing that's good about this image is the linework.  I referenced from a tiny Indiana Jones image and three photos of Han.  It still fell flat.



This one turned out a bit better.  Referenced from an Adam Hughes rendition and two photos of Han.  His trollface amuses me.  He still needs considerable work before he gets to a point where I'll be satisfied.

That's the movie.  It was originally to be three premiere episodes, but the decision was made to combine all three and release it into theaters.  It was met with a rather frosty reception.  The theater was practically empty when I went to see it.

Currently, I'm the one thwarting bots and finding coding to further thwart bots.  I'm not a code junkie by any means, I just am good at finding stuff.  I wish DZ would come back, though.  There were times where I really could have used his help.

Still dealing with pain in my left kidney.  I'm increasing fluid intake, and right now, I'm sitting with a pillow behind my back.  Not quite sure what's wrong, but I suspect a stone.
