This year wasn't too bad. I spent Christmas with my half-brother, his wife, and my niece and nephews. The kids were a bit bratty this time, but, they began to behave. It snowed Christmas Eve and we had nice accumulation. I went with them to Christmas Eve service and we walked to the church in the snow. There was a brass band playing on the square, and we heard music from the church as we got to it. You couldn't get more TV holiday special unless a one-horse open sleigh went by.

So, yes, white Christmas. And then it snowed some more! Anywho, onto the part that everyone cares about... the loot:

That is a very good Yoda. And it's always good to experiment with different styles. The anime style can really have a stranglehold on your art; Acid and I both lament about what it did to our art.

Got my Christmas shopping almost finished. Covered my dad's girlfriend by repurposing a generic gift that was originally going to go to my grandma. I still need to shop for my dad and I need to ship something for my mom. Anyone else out of state will be getting their gifts after Christmas, provided I still have money left over after I pay off some bills and my rent. Still need to send a card to Canada, which bugs me because I can't simply slap a stamp on it and toss it in the mail box!

I like how you build your sprites, with the outlines. Makes their forms a bit easier to follow for animation. If and when I start doing Wolf3D sprites again, I may borrow that technique.

-Kanka, as I have a toothache

Christmas-related stuffs:
-Bath-and-body stuffs for my sister-in-law
-Vanilla-cherry cologne and a stuffed penguin for s-i-l
-Banana-nut bread tray and mix for my grandma
-Cuddly soft blanky for my grandma
-Johnsonville sausage and cheese sampler for my half-brother and his wife
-Angry Birds Space game for my niece and nephews
-Didn't buy it today, but I had designed a ordered a t-shirt for my brother on Monday. Wrapped it tonight.

Miscellaneous stuffs:
-Non-snarky Christmas cards for relatives who aren't snarky
-Wrapping paper (two rolls, one for dueling)

-Gift boxes for those weird-shaped gifts that are downright impossible to wrap without it looking like crap
