I'm somewhat organized. If I have a place for everything, everything will be in its place. Otherwise, they're in piles. I'm either extremely organized, or not at all. There is no middle ground.

I knew an Emile. An Emile Schmidt, actually. So, when I see that name, regardless of its origin or context, I tend to read it as how Emile pronounced it ("Eh-MEEL").

Guns are never easy to draw. It's always best to have a reference. One of the reasons I have so many SW figures--lots of blasters that I can hold at any angle!

Groceries, mostly. Couldn't get too much, yet, as I was running low on food stamps. I have canned stuff and a crock pot, though. I'll start cooking.
Also got four packs of pre-cut blank trading cards:
*Two 20-pack Bristol, smooth finish
*One 10-pack Bamboo, natural finish
*One 10-pack acrylic, linen finish
Got a five-pack of card envelopes, too. And on a whim, one of those "dinosaur plants." It's currently unfurling on my windowsill.
Got some jeans on clearance. And a nighttime wrist brace to wear while I sleep.

And with all these producers on tap... There is a disturbance in the Force...
And as for what's going on now...
I don't know what happened, but it seems that everyone is getting their panties in a twist over something petty and trivial.

I take breaks often. It takes about an hour per card, roughly, and I take breaks between them. I'll stop drawing to shake out the numbness, too.

My carpal tunnel syndrome is hindering my drawing. I've been drawing trading cards lately, and while I'd like to draw three or four a day, I can barely make two a day before I can't hold the pencil anymore. Some days, I can barely get a single card drawn without numbness and pain.

I'm using slightly-mixed media for these cards. The only thing I do to them in Photoshop (now Paint.NET) is adjust the levels and color balance (even though they're black-and-white). The pics are penciled and inked on Bristol board cards, and shaded with brush pens (a fancy name for markers). I use acrylic paint for the highlights. Entirely traditional media for these.
