Our closest Little Ceasar's is up in Dillsburg, way too far away for decent delivery.  We used to have one, but the flood of 96, well, flooded it out.

I want to learn bass, too, but my sister-in-law only has a guitar, so I'm learning on an acoustic guitar.  I'm having some difficulty with the chords, getting my fingers to cooperate, but it's getting easier the more I practice the same few chords.  Hell on your fingertips, though.  Utter hell.

Papa John's pizza.

Before you boo that, I had pizza from local favorite Mama's Pizza on Friday.  I only order from Papa John's because they send my coupons.  Lots and lots of coupons.  And Mama's doesn't deliver. :(

Dr. Pepper.  With six ice cubes shaped like X-wings.

Technically, they look more like Z-95 Headhunters, but I'm just being nitpicky. :P

I only learned how to study from a book when I started with Wookieepedia.  Seriously!  Now, I take notes in the books.

And I didn't learn anything today.  But, I learned two more guitar chords and the first six notes of "Nothing Else Matters" last week.  I am very slowly learning to play a guitar.

"Bossk does have a point," Zuckuss pointed out helpfully.  He remained hesitant to follow for the moment, however, as his working history with Bossk gave him some insight into how the Trandoshan's mind worked.  For Bossk, Plan A was to kill them all and let the Scorekeeper sort them out.  And there usually wasn't a Plan B.

However, it seemed to Zuckuss that Bossk was more on top of things than IG-88 was at the moment, and even though they agreed upon this contract as a team, they were still very much on their own.  Simply put, this was just not a one-being job.  This required more muscle than either of them had on their own--or even as a pair, such is the case with Zuckuss and his droid partner.  And as much as Zuckuss generally disliked Bossk's idea of rushing out into the open with blasters blazing, the cranky reptile still had a very valid point: Action gets things done.

Zuckuss gave one last lingering look at IG-88, then turned to 4-LOM.  "Bossk's right.  We shouldn't wait around here.  The guards, if there are any left, may get suspicious..."  He finally conquered his reluctance enough to start walking, following Bossk down into the tunnel, earholes alert for any sound.

I am almost done with my spring cleaning!  I cleaned my living room and kitchen today.  Next up: Bathroom and bedroom.  Then: Reorganizing the utility closet for the umpteenth time.  I need to throw out those boxes, rather than play Tetris with them.

So... Mewtwo's got a new... something.  Headphones and a ponytail.  I... guess I could get used to it, but I don't know...  I don't like how they're tramping on Mewtwo's look like that.

I'm tempted to change my avatar to support classic Mewtwo.  Any suggestions? 8D

Zuckuss had caught up with the group after the disorienting effects of the battle finally wore off.  He sidled up beside 4-LOM, checking his vacuum suit.  The cheap uniform was breached, as his crawling about in the mire of the small sewer tunnels had snagged and ripped the fabric in places, helped along by at least one or two grazing shots.  Thankfully, he always carries his own air supply, separate from the vacuum suit itself.  After busying himself with a few minor repairs, he, too looked to IG-88.  "I don't hear any more sirens..."

(I still have the dice on-hand, and can pull up the scab rolls for quick reference.  However, during downtime, the rolls won't be needed.  It's just basic RPing right now, and scab rolls would be to add a bit of challenge.  Turn order during downtime is also off, so jump in whenever.)

Hm...  Well, the tight joints are a nice bonus, and for animation purposes, the Shadow (jelly) Ball would end up being added in post, or I'd create the special effect in other ways, so that's not as real big issue for me.  Mew...  Well, it's Mew.  I didn't expect any articulation.  So, accessories are not a major buying factor in this, as sturdiness and articulation are.

I take it the range of motion for the fingers is rather small?  Are the problem joints ball joints?  There are remedies for joints, which include putting super glue into the joint and rotating the joint for about five minutes to keep the glue from sticking.  It makes the joint a bit sturdier and it works for hinge joints, apparently.

Considering what I'd end up using Mewtwo for, the problems noted can be overcome, so I'm still debating on dropping the cash.

What's the range of motion for his head and neck?  I'd like to get some nice body language out of him.

I learned that I need a new bed.  Or to start sleeping with a pillow under my hip.

I didn't learn it today, but I learned how to give a cat a shot.  I like learning new stuff.

Today, I learned that being sick has left me with absolutely no energy whatsoever.  Blargh.

Mewtwo not being able to stand on his own puts a damper on stop-motion possibilities.  I suppose the stand could be keyed out... or "hidden" in some way, or I could find other ways to secure him properly (I'm used to my puppets not standing on their own)...

The joints popping off worries me.  Other than the problems mentioned... how loose are his joints?  Stiff joints are better for stop-motion, as they'll hold their pose.  Can Mewtwo be posed without him just being generally uncooperative?  Say, I wish to move his arm and have him gesture for a shot, would I be able to move that arm without his entire pose being thrown out of whack, provided I already have his feet secured in some fashion?

What's the plastic quality feel like?  Should I be worried about breakage from excessive handling?

So.  Review on Mewtwo.  Worth dropping the cash on or not?  Should Mewtwo grace my shelf of stuff, or should I save my money?

Why so much hate on Zubat? D:

Here's a test.

How many leaf mimics can you find?
