I've been reading the Adventures manga recently, too. Team Rocket's pretty nasty. And the manga has that decapitated Arbok.

Reluctantly, Quickie submitted. Rest would give her time to formulate a plan of action. She may not be able to help Sapph at the moment, but as soon as she was able, she planned to be out there. In the meantime, she had another concern. She was going to go after Mewtwo. She was going to get him back.

If you don't have a lot of furniture, be prepared to live out of boxes. I lived like that for a few months before I finally unpacked. I'm still unpacking stuff. Got lots of art supplies I need to find space for, still.

Quickie took a moment before standing. She looked around at other trainers who were also dealing with similar trouble. "They just didn't care who they hurt..." She shook her head. "We need to go help Sapph..." She took a few careful steps, testing her stiff, aching joints. A few more steps and she happened upon a downed tree branch, which she bent and gathered up to use as a walking stick.

Quickie accepted the hug and utilized Pyro to pull herself to her feet. She wobbled a bit, but managed to catch her balance. She sniffed and rubbed her elbows. Every joint ached. Heaving a sigh, she looked around, her gaze settling on the woods. "Sapph! We should go help him!" She started to run, but stumbled forward on her hands and knees. "Dammit! Dammit, dammit, dammit!" She bowed down and buried her face in her arms, trying not to cry.

Depends on which of the seventy designs I like. The artist isn't doing customs, and it's $20 for a fifteen-minute session.
One of the reasons I'm considering this is because the artist is a friend of mine, whom I taught how to draw. To be inked by my protege would be an honor.

In the distance, Quickie could hear helicopter rotors. After a moment or two, she saw the helicopter rise up into the air and fly away. She let out a heavy sigh and once again attempted to sit up, despite her aching joints. "Agh... I saw Wily with them... He didn't betray us... did he?"

Letting out a breath, Quickie looked to Pyro, then to the fleeing Rocket grunts and vehicle convoy. "I'm sorry... I wasn't fast enough..."

Giovanni snorted in annoyance and slammed the door shut. At his signal, the driver turned the SUV around and drove off to Giovanni's waiting helicopter.
Domino looked over at him. "Shall I arrange for dry-cleaning?"
Giovanni nodded, but did not say a word. He used his handkerchief to wipe his face, and then half-turned and craned his neck to peer into the rear compartment. On the floor, limbs restrained and heavily sedated, Mewtwo laid there. The clone's eyes were half-open and glazed over, his jaw slack, his tongue flopped out of his mouth. Some foam rimmed the corners of his mouth, and Giovanni could hear the clone breathing slowly. He turned around, settled into his seat, and adjusted his tie. "You have been a powerful asset to us, Doctor. I hope we can continue this partnership."

It would be about the size of a nickel. As with donating blood, it's pain for a good cause. I've been planning to get a tattoo for a long time, and getting a small one at a charity drive would allow me to test the waters, so to speak.

I've only fainted once when donating blood. Usually, I donate without too much of a problem. I still don't like the needle, and I doubt that I'll ever be able to handle needles, even if I do go to that charity event and get inked.

Giovanni smiled in satisfaction as he motioned for his troops to load Mewtwo into the back of the vehicle. "Excellent work, Doctor. You will be compensated." He looked to Domino. "Our job here is done."
Domino nodded and relayed a command to disband the troops. "009 to Team Rocket combat unit leaders. Our operation was a success. Fall back and report to base."
Not far from them, Quickie came running over just in time to see the troops loading Mewtwo into the vehicle. "No!" She ran up to the group, but was stopped by several grunts. "Let me through! You can't take him!"
"We can, and we will," one of the grunts jabbed Quickie in the stomach with a stun pike, sending her to the ground in a heap. The grunt nodded and looked to Giovanni. "You want Mewtwo's trainer?"
Giovanni shook his head and spat. "Absolutely not!" He paused. "Get on the horn with the Saffron agents and have them destroy her business. Teach her a lesson she won't soon forget."
"Yessir!" The grunt stepped away from Quickie's crumpled body and made the call to the other field agents.
Giovanni looked to Domino. "Order a raid on the girl's home. Have your agents confiscate anything and everything related to Mewtwo."
"On it," Domino gave a curt nod and ducked into the vehicle to establish comminications.
With a sneer, Giovanni glanced at Ahrzayl's ship and opened a com connection. "Agent Ahrzayl, for leading us to Mewtwo and your part in our operation, you will be promoted. Report back to base for reassignment." He handed the comlink back to one of his grunts and turned to Wily. "Shall we be on our way, then?" Chuckling, he walked to the vehicle, opened the door, and climbed inside.
