Here's the Cliff Notes version, Phi:

Mewtwo caused a ruckus.  He's in trouble.

Carr caused a ruckus disguised as Mewtwo.  He's in trouble, and Mewtwo is in double trouble for that, because of Bitchy Jenny.

Team Rocket might be causing a ruckus, but we're not sure, but they want Mewtwo back, so they're going to try the legal approach.

Team Rocket and Cipher are hooking up, but they've kept Domino in the dark about it, and she's pissed because she thinks the team-up is trouble, but that's not anything that Phoenix needs to worry about.  However, the Team Rocket presence in the Pokemon Institute is cause for concern.

Quickie and Wily need a good lawyer to help them win the case and keep the state from handing Mewtwo over to Team Rocket, or deporting his purple fuzzy butt if both sides lose.

No...I don't see that happening, considering she's family and all.  I'm sure the other Jennys in her family will enact an intervention of sorts to make sure she understands that not everything has to follow common sense.

Bitchy Jenny is now an icon.  We need to keep her around.  Oh, the things that she could do!  She could give poor Phoenix a hard time!

Domino shrugged. "The most that I could find was something about making a Shadow Pokemon 'resist purification.'  As to how to purify one, I'm still looking, and with Giovanni locking me out of the directory, this may take some time.  I can hack my way in, but that's not an easy process, nor is it fast."  She sighed again.  "This whole business with Cipher...  I don't think Giovanni realizes what he's getting into.  And until we can figure out a way to stop him without compromising our jobs... we'll need to at least delay this."

She glanced at James for a moment, noting his officer's uniform, then to Meowth.  "Hey, when you were first picked up, did the cops say anything about having you possibly testify?"

"That's exactly what I'm afraid of," Domino nodded.  "Giovanni doesn't remember Mount Quena and most likely never will.  I went to a hypnotherapist to recover my memories, because I kept having these weird dreams about it.  So, I remember how powerful Mewtwo was then, and how Giovanni was practically willing to kill it, even though he knew that we couldn't clone it again."  She rubbed her temples again. "Like I've told Meowth... if Giovanni goes through with this, it'll be like trying to put a leash on a nuclear explosion."

She glanced at her computer again. "Also, I don't like Cipher's involvement.  They'll be the ones handling this project, so what's to stop them from turning Mewtwo against us once they're done with it?"

James took a moment to think about this.  He's never seen a Shadow Pokemon before, yet the way the usually loyal Domino was talking, this could be bad news for more than just Mewtwo and his clones.

"I might consider...." he mutters, "But Jessie is usually the one to give the final answer...."

He pauses a moment to pull out his comlink, "Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get a hold of her.  The last time I tried she seemed to have stumbled into a horrible rock concert of sorts.  After that I couldn't get a response from her or her Pokemon."

"What exactly was she doing that caused her to wind up in such an unorthodox area?"  Meowth asked.

"She was supposed to be getting back the Grand Rhydon with the hopes of using it to capture Mewtwo and his friends," James said, "I have no clue how that resulted in her being such a loud ruckus, but I can't help but think something else is tying her down and preventing her from calling anyone for help."

Domino compressed her lips.  "She hasn't been in touch with me, either."  She let out an aggravated sigh as she accessed her computer, trying to trace Jessie's comlink.  "Last hit I have on her location is around Mount Moon.  After that... it goes black."  She leaned forward and propped her elbows on her desk, rubbing her forehead with both hands. "Look, the most I can do at this point is dispatch another team to her location.  I'll do that, give them orders to bring Jessie here, and we'll go from there.  But, in the meantime, we have other matters to attend to."

Falling silent for a very long moment, Domino worked on something on her computer, chewing on her bottom lip as she did so.  "I really don't like doing this, but Giovanni hasn't been straight with me about this plan at all..."  She typed some more, clicked something, then typed again. "All right, let's see, then..."  Sucking in her breath, she attempted to access a directory.  "...Dammit."  She tried again, with the same results.  "Dammit."  Trying again, the results were the same.  "Dammit!  He locked me out!"

She rubbed the bridge of her nose with her thumb and forefinger as she closed the windows she was working in.  "This isn't good...  This really isn't good.  I don't like this at all..."  She let out a breathy groan and looked to James, Meowth, and Joe.  "Giovanni locked my access.  I can't get into the directory at all.  He never does this.  He's hiding something from me, and I really don't like it."

"That would work.  If it's just that, he should be relatively cooperative."  She looked to the floor, then readjusted her backpack once more.  "I know most of his moves by name, and we used to do target practice in the country around Saffron.  Just something to do, nothing destructive, but it helped him hone his powers some more, so he wasn't erratic.  I mean, he can be pretty precise with a lot of his powers, but the larger stuff?  We're still working on focusing it so as to lessen the collateral damage."

After doing another read-through, I pinned down baby Mewtwo's voice.  Adenoids, a lisp, and he pronounces his Rs as Ws for added cuteness.  Even though there is plenty of visual reference, I'm relying more on describing everything with sound alone, so character looks will be determined by their voices.

Quickie compressed her lips into a thin, hard line.  Both lines of discussion were unpromising, what with the remote possibility that Mewtwo would essentially be deported, and the possibility that the Pokemon Institute may indulge their curiosities while he was in their custody.  She sighed and readjusted her backpack. "Hopefully you can get Ash flown in, soon.  He'd be integral to this..."

"But, why a research facility?  If it's simply for an exam, he had one at the Pokemon Center, so I would assume that it wouldn't require much beyond him just being cooperative." She shrugged. "If it's for someplace to hold him, I can understand that.  If you had to bring in someone in crisis, you wouldn't have the right holding cell for them because Mewtwo's in it."

Did another brief read-through, while adapting some lines for a more natural delivery.  There are a number of things that I may need to either change or cut entirely, due to elements being lost in translation, and most of those are in Miyamoto's (Jessie's mom) lines.  Lots of redundant wording, due to usage of English in the original Japanese dialogue, too, so that will be changed/cut.
