To be fair those weren't trying to emulate a predecessor.

Maybe it increases in size as you swing, like his hands and feet did in 64, and gives much better range?

Sounds like they're putting more tech and less family-friendly this time. Just like old times...

Who loves Alia?

I do.

If you look closely you can see Layer's eyes

I think he's dressed more in white than red.
But his hair is red.
Well, fair enough, it's not red getup w/ blonde hair.

838
And naturally the guy is red... I guess that colour contrast never gets old.

All that amazing tech is like 2 years old by now so it'll probably only be a little more than the Wii was originally.

841
Should be very good going by the stuff they rejected.

So!
Hope this is an appropriate thread to bring this up in.

After tasting the free previews on the official site, I've been reading the novels, or rather some sort of e-translation ("baka-tsuki"?). It's kind of shoddily done, but on the other hand it's actually out unlike all but 2 of the official translations here...
...And I would just like to register my interest! I may have a gander at the animangu too, though according to Wikipedia they're almost unrelated to the novel plots. Then again, maybe that's a bonus, since I already know the plot?

Though I'm kind of baffled by the branching storyline in the last novel, I'd still recommend the read - just not in person...

Cartridges tend to do that, yeah. It's much like why SSDs are faster than regular HDDs.

I do hope the new controller keeps the two-parter design, the nunchuk/mote was really comfortable even for motion insensitive games.
