Artificial lengthening? I was only referring to the basic ones like "complete a level" or "complete entire game"... Don't think anyone who doesn't want to play the game is going to be influenced by an achievement.

My problem with achievements are they're all things you're gonna do anyway with no real challenge. Some of these do have challenge, granted, but some of them are just "wut".
Just something I thought of on the spur of the moment, but perhaps those trivial achievements are aimed at the fairly large %age of people who never beat a game they buy?

It makes sense that they would fix bugs, so it might not mean anything.
Not dissipating could be that it's supposed to go frame 1-2-3-1-2-3-1-2-3-gone, and without frames 2-3 it never reaches gone. Odd way of doing it, but... possible.

Well if it refers to each frame by an ID (which is sensible) it would just have to hiccup and change that number to get a completely different sprite. Or someone was playing around with pointers...

Perhaps reploids just get that much stronger in every generation, so that the weapons+armors from previous wars are already outdated and too weak by the next.
