I'm thinking the animation is fluid because it uses polygonal graphics, ie actual model animations rather than sprite sheets.

Interesting to play anyway - demo is a bit simple in its linearness, but fun.

Then again, I'd be backdash cancelling etc. big weapons all the time, so cooldown period is not an issue anymore.

Hitspeed is though. But then, that's what you got the katanas for. 3-hit combo O-T-G!
