Been playing for a total of 22 hours now and got Kira up to level 44. I'm still trying to befriend the characters I want though. It does not really seem like having them on your side often enough is the key, since I actually have friends who I've beaten more times than I've been fighting alongside with. And I'm sort of losing hope that I might not actually gain their friendships, although I replay the missions a bunch of times and equipped the charisma skill. Meh, I want to be friends with Char so I can unlock his license missions (which after gaining would also allow me to unlock Luna as a playable character) but I can't seem to increase my level with him, at all. Same for Shinn and Kamille. Any ideas?

Oh, great. Another Gundam series. WHOOP DE FRICKIN' DOO!

While officially, there is no announced format yet, there have been rumors for a long time that Unicorn will not be a series but a movie trilogy. That or an OVA series seems the most likely.

Worldwide simultaneous release planned.

Yeah, the level 4 parts are freaking hard to get. Getting the Strike Freedom parts was a nightmare. All of my teammates were down and I had to fight against a whole field of asskicking Nemos and CM Commands, with Kira, M'quve and Lunamaria in the Destiny trying to gangrape me. I saved everytime I actually managed to kit Kira with a Full Burst Mode attack.

Just out of curiosity, how do you actually unlock other abilities in this game? In the first one you usually got new stuff by completing missions, but so far I only have those that the character would learn by default. Perhaps by using different suits?

And how exactly do I install power ups on parts?

Does someone have a list of all the joinable factions? Just would like to know.

Oh, one other thing, can it be that once you actually did befriend a certain character, the relationship between the two characters cannot get worse again? Also, I saw in one mission description that in order to unlock it, my relationship with another character has to be friendship or more. So, I guess you can also fall in love with one as well?

"Kira Yamato is now a Newtype."

Yeah, as if we hadn't known yet.

Say, is there any way to leave a faction and/or join with another? By accident, I ended up becoming a Titan >__>

I think I missed the scene where the emperor paid the academy a visit to line everyone up for memory tampering.

The Emperor did not come to Area 11, most of the Ashford students went back to Britannia after the failure of the Black Rebellion. Out of those who went back to Britannia, pretty much only Milly, Shirley and Rivalz returned to Japan. While in Britannia, Charles messed with their memories.

I guess he pretty much detached himself from the Britannia Royal Family after the death of his mother and the confrontation with his father. Pretty much the only one out of that family other than Nunnally he cared about was Euphemia. And we all know how that ended.

I consider Yagami Light the greatest [sonic slicer] of all time in all of anime, with Post S1 Suzaku as runner-up.

Yeah, I'm also very pissed that unlike the first game you can't switch to Japanese dub anymore. I can't stand hearing Brad Swaile and Simon/Matt Hill and especially Phil Fulton any more.

his evilness just grinds my gears. his complexity comes off as an absolute mess. and what he does at the very end of the show's run (i.e. where Adult Swim left off) is just absolutely ridiculous. no one's that noble. at least Light stayed evil to the very end.

You do not get the point. Yagami Light is an evil bastard with a God Complex who doesn't stop from doing anything that would in some way benefit him, including killing of his own family. He wants to rid the world of everything evil or rather, everything he deems worthless and become God for all those left behind. Meanwhile, Lelouch still has a human side. He has issues with some of the things he's doing. Plus, he's not doing his rebellion thing for himself, his goal is to make a better world for Nunnally where she can live happily. His only other motiviation is to find out who killed his mother and why, then getting revenge on them. It's not about his own happiness, although C.C. says it is. He's walking a fine line because he might involve people he actually cares about and unlike Light, he actually wants them to be alive. As we see, Light did not hesitate to benefit from his sister's abduction by the Mello faction or his father's death later on. His main motivation aside from becoming God was not getting caught. Lelouch on the other hand in R2 presented himself on a silver dish and said evil things to Kallen in order to get her out of the line of fire, amongst other stuff.

He only becomes "evil" in the end, but that only serves a greater purpose, kinda like Revan in Knights of the Old Republic. However, unlike Revan, Lelouch's death was always part of his own plan.

Well then people, the game is out both in the States and in Europe, so where is everybody?

I played it for several ours yesterday and I like it. However, the Mobile Suit lab still irritates me as to how exactly it works and actually forming friendships with other pilots proves rather dificult, or perhaps I'm just doing it wrong.

The Unicorn fanbase in Japan must be ridiculously huge, since Sunrise NEVER animated any of the side stories before (SEED MSV and Evolve don't count).

Overreaction. You are the master of it.

Have you actually SEEN Gankutsuou? If you had, you'd know how awesome it is.

I spent most of the day marathoning through episodes 6 to 24 of Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo. I am at a loss of words. If there really is an anime out there that is worthy of the title "Masterpiece", it is this series. *___*

I've never seen a series that was this perfect on all accounts. Story, setting, characters and development, music, atmosphere...

George Nakata is GOD!

30/10

I need this series on DVD.

Am I the only one who thinks that the explaination of the backstory is done a little too fast? Didn't they push the contents of like 3-4 episodes into this episode 2?

This show keeps confusing me. And the main character keeps me wanting to strangle her. She's so [tornado fang]ing dumb. Osaka from Azumanga Daioh is Einstein compared to her.

Best part of the entire show is the ending song >__>
