An unconfirmed teaser site has opened for what it describes as the "Fate/stay night film." The domain is registered under the name "Geneon Entertainment" by the GMO Internet service provider.

A movie, huh? Compilation of the Studio DEEN anime? Alternative take on the Fate route? Completely different route animated this time, or even attempting to cut all 3 routes together?

Still don't get what the [tornado fang] the storyline is all about, but it's awesome as hell.

It's one of those "It is not the destination that matters, it is the journey" kind of themes.

This movie was full of Azaka moeness...it was wierd but still entertaining. Looking forward to the final movie, with the main badguy being voiced by Hoshi Souichirou. Really a lot of voice actors from Gundam SEED DESTINY in these movies.

Wouldn't it be better if you threw in a version of the game that's actually readable for the normal people? This is a rather dialogue heavy series afterall.

Remember when I was raging about how the existence of the second season made the DVDs that were already out worthless? Never mind that. With eight episodes that are just the same safe for some arrangements, this series is absolutely not worth being bought on DVD. Seriously, 2 episodes would have been enough for this plot. If each episode contained like some crypic hints that would lead to an overall event or something, then perhaps it might be forgiveable, but in the end it just comes down to the fact that Haruhi wants to help Kyon with his summer homework >__> This seriously has to be the greatest troll in the history of anime.

As expected, the Bones segment looks best.

That visual of the chief looks great suprisingly.. hold on a minute, does that say 1337 on the right chestplate? hah.

I do not actually think that's any official artwork. It was the picture posted on Kohaku, which is where I saw the news on first. It'll eventually be replaced with footage from the Trailer, so rest assured.

The BONES, Casio Entertainment, Production I.G., Studio 4°C, and Toei Animation anime studios are animating Halo Legends, a DVD anthology of seven short films based on Microsoft Studios' Halo game franchise. Microsoft's creative staff is approving the visual and storytelling. Two of the creative directors are Frank O'Connor of 343 Industries and Shinji Aramaki (Appleseed). Aramaki's short will cover the history of the Spartan warrior class from the games. Studio 4°C will animate two 30-minute shorts about "the entire 100,000 year history of the Halo universe."

Warner Brothers will release the anthology on DVD, Blu-ray Disc, and digital distribution in early 2010. A trailer is planned for the Halo panel at San Diego's Comic-Con International on Thursday, and Xbox 360 users can see a preview this fall on the Xbox Live service.

Animatrix and Batman: Gotham Knight must have been quite successful. But Halo as an anime? I say it might work. The Haloid fanmovie proved that I guess.

Anime & Manga / Re: What Manga are you Currently Reading?

I'm not really a manga reader. It simply takes too much shelf space of which I already have not enough due to my addiction of buying Anime DVDs and novels. However, there's a local store here which is currently having a firesale of some old series. Amongst these is the Neon Genesis Evangelion manga. All 11 volumes published here so far for roughy 3 bucks a volume. Now, I was never a fan of Eva, the anime left me deeply confused and unsatisfied, but I heard from a lot of people that the manga is better in several regards.

Is someone around here who can tell me how the manga is in regard to the anime and if buying it would be a good idea?

assault was great~

The first level of Assault was great. The rest of the game was totally mediocre, as if the first mission and the rest of the game were developed by two entirely different developer teams.

I'm still waiting for a Perfect Grade Freedom >_>

I wonder if they'll do the same as with the Strike, releasing the Skygrasper with the Aile Pack separately. Well, if they do release an 0-Raiser separately, it better has GN Sword III.

You [tornado fang]ing heard me. You might want to deny it and all, but NOT everything about DESTINY is BAD. And the Special Editions are clearly better than the TV series. And noticably shorter.

I thought 08th MS Team had the best romance story in all of Gundam.

Nah, the Shiro / Aina thing wasn't really that developed. The whole infatuation was far too quick and shallow. They met like twice and spent a few hours together and then they're suddenly in love and all. Meanwhile, Domon and Rain were working together all the time in G Gundam, but they had their problems that needed to be solved, trusts broken and regained and all and realizing at the end what the other meant for them.

When it comes to romance in Gundam, G Gundam in my opinion had the best overall development, because it was there from start to finish.

What's a good anime with good action but with romance at the same time?

Mobile Fighter G Gundam.

It was only a matter of time until they'd do that. I'm concerned though, the SEED special edition was 3 movies and it incredible editing and pacing problems. They should have given it four movies, like SEED DESTINY. Those are actually watchable and comprehensible.

Just a word of warning, but you have to buy an Action Base for this model, as it doesn't come with a stand.

Already knew that, though I do not really understand what Bandai was thinking when they did that.

Finally. Looks really nice but, ugh...I really hate those curved beams. When I finally get around to buy this kit, I'll give it the straight beams that came with the Freedom.
