RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYMMMMAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNN!

627
Seriously guys, let's just drop it now. There are games for everyone here and if they aren't spoken about, they'll be mentioned with much fervor in the coming days. I expressed my concerns earlier in this thread and did so without causing much fuss. Let's get back on track and just enjoy the E3ness of everything.

What happened to just accepting the games for what they are?
(in before "saying good things about games" topic) x.x

This, basically.

628
You can also check the OP for these things too. :P

Also, I just had to share this with you all: Warner Bros. & 5th Cell have released a Super Scribblenauts E3 trailer consisting of cows fighting against alien abduction with swords. I am not making this up.
Video here. XD

629
Just reminding folks, the OP is getting updated as the conferences end and it's worth it to take a good look through there every now and again. You might find something good there like Q Entertainment making a spiritual successor to Rez on the Dreamcast. 8D

I'm just looking for a platformer... or two.

I think tomorrow's our day. 8D

632
...OK that looked kinda cool. And Steve [tornado fang]ing Blum.

633
Reggie looks like he's losing a bunch of weight lately. Also, I hate getting distracted while watching conferences. D:

634
...incredibly enough, I seem to be the only one here who cares about anything even remotely non-japanese.

With me, it's not so much that I don't care for anything not Japanese, it's just that nothing there really popped out at me save for MG:Rising's slick style (and even then, I didn't get to see any of the prior footage before that one instance of combat and the watermelon thing). Halo, I've never really been a hardcore fan for, although I know the games are well done, Gears of War is/has always been too friggin' gory for me (I really can't stomach excessive gore), and the Call of Duty showed there was not only a bit unimpressive after Modern Warfare's showing last year even, but it also seems like it's much too soon for it. There';s also the fact that it's Activision and [tornado fang] Activision for what they did to those IW employees. [tornado fang] them hard. XD

Also that ESPN move is [tornado fang]ing intelligent as hell.

635
Usually, I wouldn't do this, I'm much better than it, but I am bored as [tornado fang] with this conference so far. XD

636
Kinect looks like it's come a long way from E3 2009.

637
[tornado fang] I MISSED RISING. I only saw that Watermelon scene. I waaaaant.

Their stream is amazing.

638
Jericho, bless your heart, that photo made me laugh. Well done! owob

At the very least, I can't take responsibility for making it. Still, it's a lovely and fitting pic isn't it.

Saw this one a few days ago

DAT 3D! 8B

639
Better yet, just to save myself a bit of work, I'll only update the OP as the conferences take place & news breaks. This part is always the toughest to deal with. XD

640

Can you feel the HYPE? XD

On another note, there's a bunch of interesting things out there. I'm updating the main post with recent news stories that may or may not pan out for the event as we speak.

Oh God, I really want to play this game.

642
Damn indeed. That conference has the most to potentially offer imo.

643
It took so long you forgot to change the title's year!  ;)

Whoops, taking care of it now. XD

EDIT: Thanks for getting it beforehand actually.

645
Well, fresh yearly lyrics are always welcome, but I thought tradition would call for the first set. Meanwhile, I must say that I really didn't expect to see this take such a long time to set up. XD

It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year
With the new game announcements
And everyone's prouncement "E3 is HERE!"
It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year
It's the fap-faptastic weekend of all
With those company greetings as well as competing,
With charts for you all
It's the fap-faptastic weekend of all

There'll be lots of liveblogging
Sad fanboyish ogling
And games that will make you say "Whoa"
There'll be some disappointment
And people who will vent how
E3 kicked ass long ago

It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year
There'll be some gamers gloating
And minds will be floating
When all the crowds cheer.

Yet Another Note From News Reporter Jelly

And with yet another revolution around the sun, we are now hot on the heels of the most anticipated yearly gamer event around -- the Electronic Entertainment Expo, or E3 for short. Much to our delight, this year promises to be packed to bursting with excellent news on all fronts of gaming. Whether or not said things are new developments or teased for long periods of time beforehand, this promises to be a most spectacular time for each of us enthusiasts in our favorite (or close to favorite) hobby.

Taking a cue from my previous RPM mega thread, I will most definitely try to rise to the occasion and keep on updating the thread in a way that is both timely and easy to digest. However, since things tend to move relatively quickly during E3 time, there is always the slight chance that I might miss an update or two as things move along. At that time, I will ask for all of your help to make sure that things keep moving at a decent pace.

Final notes from me on this all: no flaming, no trolling, no psuedo trolling, no fanboy agendas, and no riling up folks. It'd be best if you all just kept whatever thoughts you had along those lines to yourself. With that all said, kick back, relax and have fun with the rest of RPM!

647
Yeah, I should also get back into making some characters as well.

648
Oh God, I want to play as that Pichu, like now. XD

Charm would be magnificent for trolling the field.

649
Need help with info-collecting?

Yes please. I'll try and edit it all into the OP soonish.

I've been amped since the first unveiling months ago.

It's basically a game that brings back the spirit of the frenetic paced, arcade-style shooters from the 80s, right down to the plot. Plus, it's from the same man who bought me GOD HAND, my personal "GAME OF THE FOREVER" from 06, and the same studio who gave me Bayonetta.

If Sega does nothing else right for here til the end of time, supporting P* for that 4 game contract is almost enough to make up for a lot of their major "Bubba Flubbas" that they made in the last few years alone.

SPEAKING OF WHICH. If I don't hear Sega announcing that they're going to renew their contract with P* at E3, with Bayonetta 2 or some other type of follow-up planned with Kamiya at the helm, then well, I dunno what to say any more for Sega.  8D

Sega acquiring Platinum Games was one of the most brilliant plays in gaming-dom. Sega losing acquisition of them would be tantamount to the SE "shooting themselves in the foot" deal on a grander scale. XD

And yes, Vanquish's concept sounds [tornado fang]ing awesome.

Didn't Kamiya say he'd like to make a Starfox and Mega Man game?

You know, he'd do a [tornado fang]ing crazy job.

He said Megaman as well? FFFFFUUUUU--

I think he's the only guy other than Inafune that I'd want to see handle a new 3D Megaman series.

650
Ok, cool. Also, sorry guys that I haven't been doing a better job at sweeping the net for E3 stuff and updating the first post. It's been a very trying time for me lately.
