When I said a game that took up 50 gigs, I meant one with 3D models that had extremely high polygon counts (or whatever you call high resolution 3D models) and was long enough that it needed lots of space for all the different places that Trigger and friends would travel to.

I hope you can support the amount of effort a game like that would take to produce when the asking price is 100 - 150 USD.

I know there's some rule about responding to necroposts, but the content of dragontamer's post warrants a response.

So Legends 3 on 3DS; NO. It's a nice idea, but I think we deserve the better graphics that consoles can provide. Also, I was hoping for a game so long that it took up the whole 50GB of a blu-ray disk, instead of one that was trimmed short to fit into the limited space of a DS card (512 megabytes I think).

I'm going to respond to this in an adventure book kind of way, choose your own answer:

A.) You do realize that if the game was made to be that large, there'd be quite a hefty dev time for it, right? Metal Gear Solid 4, the only game that's so far using the max storage space of a blu-ray disc (IIRC), has most of that space dedicated to some ridiculously high quality sound direction and music. Those are the only things that are making the overall game so huge.

B.) He said 3DS, not DS. 3DS is capable of using 2GB sized game carts from the jump with a high chance of larger capacities coming soon. Either way though, what difference does it all really make whether or not a game releases on one or the other? If it has the gameplay and fun of the past games with something new (be it because of innovation or straight up game design) for us who wanted a sequel, I really doubt a platform choice should matter much.

Today was [tornado fang] weird. Worst part? Everyone's going to stop playing with me because I apparently didn't rust over as badly as everyone else. I still hate the fact that I can't use my uber cool/funny things anymore.

That match today was the craziest [parasitic bomb] ever. I thought Argentina was going to rally after that second goal, but they just kept getting [tornado fang]'d with by Germany's style. The Argentinian goalie was really making some bad calls though. Rushing out on two of those wide shots cost him.

I feel bad for restarting the RPm interest in matches but not showing up to any of them. :(

The "siblings want to do something else"/"I'm drained from offline antics and errands" combo never fails.

I'd be happy to jump in.  Although I am ridiculously out of practice.

Same here. Plus I have a controller that's sooo worn out from my super Brawling sessions in the past that just loves to frustrate me. XD

This is exactly what he's doing.

Is it bad that I laughed at the scene when Luffy bit him and he went apeshit? XD

I'll play ya right now if you're available :V

If it were any other day, I probably could right now, but since I won't have the Wii until late night today, I'll play you if you're here then.

Oh great, It's Megaton Punch all over again.

Might be a bit off topic but, does anybody think SSB could work as a traditional fighter? I mean, the serious fans tend to play the game with strict rules, anyway, so...

....but then it wouldn't be Smash Bros.

Sidenote - Anyone still play regularly? I've been itching to play online again for a while. XD

Nostalgia aside, the original voice for Wolf was a lot better, IMO.

No nostalgia or meme whoring here, but all of the VA for the N64 game did a fantastic job.

You'll have to defeat the ten ranked gaming presidents before you can fight him.

...yeah, so I'm totally drafting up a design document for a game with this concept. No More Heroes what? XD

The sad thing is, they're probably going to replace the voice actors.

Realizing this made me think that this is the one time I'd want Nintendo to cheap out and reuse all the old voice clips. :(

However, you know what I'd really love above everything else? Playable Star Wolf.  I think it'd be awesome if, either Star Wolf was hired by General Pepper, or if you go the opposite path on the map, start at Venom, then work your way to Corneria, perhaps in a n Andross betrayal mode.  Also, include them in the damn multiplayer.

As much as I want to argue that such a mode should be in a bigger better and more 64 like badass version of StarFox, I've been in desperate need for some greater than 6 player space dogfighting for a looooooong time now. Motion seconded.

The Betrayal mode would also be the hotness.

...good controls would be nice. The last DS title just didn't impress in that department.

*Thanks God for an analogue slider stick on the 3DS*

Seriously, I'm not all that anal about controls or trying different things, but after playing a little of Command a while back, I can understand where the resentment for that kind of control comes from.

Meanwhile, I can only hope that this remake of sorts will only lead to a more full fledged StarFox in the future, be it for the 3DS or Wii.

I can't believe it's been so long since this thread's been active. XD

190 is out on Mangastream and there's quite a bit of action in this one. Mistgun getting outed as Gerard from Edoras though was certainly a surprise. Also, this page right here:

It's just so awesome to me for some reason.

Well I finally won, but man dude I'm sorry for the bad luck there with the missed Leaf Storm and all.  I'm just glad I actually came up with some pretty danm good strategy but I gotta remember that Rock Type moves are the ones Super Effective against Ice types and not Ground types.  I also need to come up with a better lead pokemon too.

Honestly, Metagross wasn't that bad a choice, it's just that the Ampharos I helped my brother with is a demon. I really should have just waited until I could go wild in my own Soul Silver with my own personal team, but Johto hype got the better of me. I was actually thinking I wouldn't do more than a third of Metagross' HP worth of damage, but damn if Ampharos didn't shock the hell out of me there. XD

That Mamoswine though... I totally forgot about the Ice Shard priority for a second, but when I saw Sceptile tank it, I had my "COUNTER" face on and just went for the big guns. In retrospect, Leaf Blade was the better choice. Another thing learned for today though was that my team of double types idea might be a great idea after all.

That explains it. I just thought that whenever we play against each other online, we just lag.  8D

I owe you a battle though. Maybe tomorrow.

597
Alright then.

That missed Leaf Storm of mine and that critical hit Dragon Claw you got totally made your day Sakura. XD

Now if only I didn't plan all my moves like that. What I was hoping for with Typhlosion was that if you had dealt it any damage with Gardevoir, you'd trigger Blaze and I could get a scorcher off. With Blaziken, since I didn't have a move of any particularly decent effectiveness against it, I wanted to outspeed it and use a near full power Eruption. Then I got slapped in the face with an Earthquake. XD

FUUUUUUUUUUUU

Battery dies on me. :(

I don't think I do.

4297 5603 0391. Let me know when you're there.

Indeed it was I'm just glad my pokemon did better than I expected, but seriously Akamaru why do you have 2 dragon types, I know thier pretty danm good and all but it's not a good idea to have 2 pokemon of the same type.

Okay Jericho it's your turn now.

Just a thought though, do you have my FC?

Sounds like you both had a fun match. XD
