Damnit, I was about to post that last highly enjoyable pic XD

Also, it's missing one person, so no Captain Planet D:

...

Miyamoto holding the money printing DS? (Heart) 8D

More photos from the event:

And someone with 1337 photoshop skills needs to make it so a Captain Planet Wii bursts out of the wall behind the guys in this pic, just for impact:

Agreed? XD

Are the internet tears bitter at this announcement? Because I saw this as inevitable.

I don't think I need to tell you about what's going on at the forum I got this info from... 8D

And that's only from the night folk. XD

I too saw it as an inevitability, but do the fanboys? Nope as usual.

Wait wait, is that supposed to be IX or XI?

I totally didn't catch this on time. Thanks for seeing it though bobo! XD

Like it? It's the Dragon Quest IX Edition "Slime" DSi which goes on sale launch day for DQIX. The black one would be perfect for me if the slime was it's traditional blue color.

Sorry if I stole any thunder there Ben, it was just too damn legendary for me not to post it ASAP. Also, since I'm actually curious about the series and need an RPG or two, this will definitely be a must try for me. 8)

Gaming / Dragon Quest IX Dated (3/28 JP) / Dragon Quest X Wii Exclusive. :O
« on: December 10, 2008, 06:57:46 AM »
It is as I said in the headline above. News of the event recently came from a special Dragon Quest "party", the same party used two years ago to announce DQXI's DS appearance. While I should have been keeping a close eye on this, Brawl (and it's well timed lag this evening 8D) got the better of me. You can read up on the events however at the following page:

http://gigazine.net/index.php?/news/comments/20081210_dragonquest/

Discussions and meltdowns (if you're the type to do so) begin now.

Major Edit - I fail at roman numerals. Sleepy eyes strike again! XD

It's Dragon Quest 9, not 11 that has a date.

The Anime Generation vs. The Video Game Generation

The Prize: Supremacy on the Television.

ROUND 1! FIGHT!

It's like a 90s cartoon plot, which only makes me want this game more. XD

ZX / Re: What Do You Want to See in a ZX3?
« on: December 09, 2008, 09:34:25 PM »
You know, I think I have something I'd like to see in ZX3, albeit a bit fanservice-y for Zero series players. I'd like to see the biometals actually refer to one another using the names of the heroes they were prior to being morpher'd. That or maybe a projection a la X in the the Zero series would be pretty great for acknowledging the past again.

What I've learned: I really need to stop leaving this computer and RPM tab up so often. XD

highly enjoyable Intro is highly enjoyable.

And of course, Rock (Volnutt) and Roll are in the intro too.

For the record, the name of the song is "Across the Border". Forget who sings it, but some have said its the same woman who hand Ingrid's song from CFJ.

I need this. Like now, injected into my veins... XD

« on: December 09, 2008, 01:36:21 AM »
Also, I think it's hypocritical not to allow Manga to be listed in here.  I, for one, like to stress that Anime and Manga are simply cartoons and comic books, just from Japan (or Korea nowadays).  I view Cowboy Bebop & Outlaw Star no differently than I view Batman: The Animated Series or James Bond Jr.  The same goes with me for comics, whether Japanese or US or from any region around the world.  Just because Manga has it's own section on this forum does not discount it as a book or reading, so I move that it be included in here, because not allowing it in is a form of reverse discrimination, IMO.   8D

This Protoman Blues post has been made possible by Mango Lemonade, Bacon, and viewers like you!   8)

While I understand what Hypersonic was going for, I completely agree with this post.

Off The Wall / Re: The most terrible thing you have ever done, Anywhere.
« on: December 09, 2008, 12:31:47 AM »
I think the worst thing I've ever done was prank one of my friends when we went on a trip to Manhattan. It was a group of us and as per our usual weird tradition, we picked one person out of the group to just annoy the [parasitic bomb] outta. Everyone decided to split up and leave him in one place, but then I accidentally took it a step further and took his cell phone away so he couldn't call the group. He got it back a bit later, but needless to say it was kinda eating at me, especially since we didn't know if he hung around or went home and it was COLD that night.

I randomly dance to game music every now and then. I also have a tendency to switch between American Engilsh, Ebonics (lol), British English, and Patois at the drop of a hat.

Broke my right hand while playing handball. Thanks to that, I can now clap with one hand only. XD

Oh man, I'm too lucky then. There have been too many times where I've sprained, pulled out or overall hurt my hands for me to remember, most of them involving handball.

They still have yet to let me down though. :D

I broke my left arm slipping on an ice hill when I was like eight years old, then the next year I broke the same arm again in the same place on the same ice hill.

That place is cursed. Your arm and the hill.
