I am in absolutely, positively NO WAY surprised by this at all.

I think it's safe to say that if you play Smash Bros. after the 64 version, one of these two will always be liked. Funny thing is, I remember when no one cared for the Fire Emblem guys. XD

For those of us who've played it, what about finally beating the 6th dungeon boss in StarTropics 1? Memories like that are made instantly and last forever.

Everyone annoys me as Ike.

Ike sucks.

Oh hellz nah. D:

Remember when you learned that the flutes in SMB3 could take you to World 8?

HOLY [parasitic bomb]!! I JUST SKIPPED THE ENTIRE GAME!

I still remember the day when I finally cracked the sequence ("the Code") in Bowser's last castle. All those emotions, hot-blooded awesomeness... I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. It was one of the best days in my life.

Goddamnit, [tornado fang] all of the new cinematic big production games, I still remember these moments and I have yet to re-experience them all these years later.

If you can't take care of your own children, don't get any.

Such a easy answer and yet it won't stop happening as long as there are ignorant people in the world... *sigh*

No no young one, when I do that I get premonitions then wake up nauseous as [tornado fang]. XD

Which reminds me, everyone admit you used or at least tried to do the Missingno/Mew Truck/other randomness in Pokemon Red/Blue/Green/Yellow. XD

*Is guilty*

*hugs Vix*
Yeah, I haven't gotten to fight you that often either.  But you do play a mean Ike.

I'm still of the opinion that Vixy's Game and Watch is her fiercest character.

Nah, I meant as a character.

Wait, wha--?

Well damn, looks like I'll be doing a second write up sometime. Also, what's with all of these brawl threads as of late... 8D

I'm in Hypershell's/PB's situation myself. The four I chose were:

Mario - I've always loved playing as Mario ever since the days of Smash 64. Why I didn't take to him as naturally in Brawl as in 64/Melee all boils down to how they changed two of his more prominent moves, the Mario Tornado and the aerial spinning bird kick, but after trying some new and different things with him, I see now that he's even more of a devious yet straightforward character than ever, something that I love when it comes to the ones I play most.

Luigi - Someone put him into perspective a while back, but it all boils down to this. Chop (front air), Poke (side smash), Trip (down smash), Whirl (Down Special), Burn (fireballs) and Fry (Close up UpB).

Pit - Yet another awesome "newbie" with quite a bit of potential behind him not just in the realm of brawl but video games in general. Also, ya have to love someone who can KO 3 times before even one knockout without stopping. (Sorry Akamaru) XD

Marth - Mah boi! Play him straightforward. Play him devious. Play him attack heavy. Play him stategically & defensively. Ground troubles? Feh, Marth sees those and say "[sonic slicer] I got hops!" XD

The point I'm trying to make is that everyone has a character that just clicks so well with them with no real explanation as to why. For me, that's Marth.

Other notable characters include Lucas (the almost Marth for me), Fox (the Spike Spiegal of Brawl), Ganondorf (complete with evil beard look), Link (surprisingly), Toon Link (see Link), Ike (and his overcompensating sword) and Captain Falcon (PAAAANCH!).

That's not parenting, though.  That's abuse.  That's psychotic.  So is the MMO case too.

Indeed. I can completely agree and sadly relate to this post. (not myself personally, but through experiences with others)

4441
Please, you don't have to tell me about how bad Pichu could be. His fully charged side special was nightmarish to time for a counter when I first started with Marth & Roy. XD

Still they have to find out who did it to them sometime.

that didn't make any sense. if they survived, they're not dead. but yeah, that is [tornado fang]ing rotten.

I said it in the sense that this child will forever be marked with that burn just because something normal for it's age happened. Whenever they think of their natural blood parents, the first thing that comes to mind is that, thus jading them looong before they have a chance to develop with them.

4444
Ya know, at first I could agree with the sentiment that Mario needed more KO ability, but after spending a bit of time with him, I've come to the conclusion that he'd be more raep than Luigi (which is a lot) if that was the case.

4445
I dunno, Sonic seems to be the biggest trap card from nowhere when played right. And Dr. Mario, hoo boy, that'd make Brawl Super Smash Bros. Broken if they gave him anything more like they did Mario (sans weaker knockbacks. XD

Sometimes it does.  Also, I have the belief that there are things in life worse than death.

100% Truth.

yeah, but that doesn't kill them. at least, not physically.

So...
(click to show/hide)
wouldn't kill a child because they survived?

Sorry man, that's just not gonna cut it.

4448
Same reason Roy, Mewtwo, Dixie kong, etc are all in brawl data without a character slot, they ran out of time... ;_;

I wonder how different Brawl would have been with all the characters they wanted in it?
