You know, I've had like zero presence in this thread and I find it weird. Admittedly at first, the game wasn't grabbing me due to my own inability to follow some titles, but this might just be the biggest (good) surprise game of 2010 for myself. The game is incredible and I honestly can't believe how it just appeared out of the blue (ha) like this. Also, the music is [tornado fang]ing blissful. Sweet Mountain Acts 1 & 2 as well as all of Planet Wisp's themes alone are giving Super Mario Galaxy 2's best themes a serious run for their money right now, and that was my personal draft pick for best soundtrack of this year previously!

Episode 6. Holy [parasitic bomb].

Edit: Streams for those who need them.

Damn, Capcom is DOOMED.

Now who's gonna be its saviour, Jun Takeuchi? No, just no....

Um... Yeah, about that... XD

As of 1st November, Jun Takeuchi will take on the added responsibility of corporate officer as well as his existing deputy head of consumer games and R&D Division, and general manager of R&D production.

According to GamesIndustry.biz, Capcom's taking Inafune's depature as an opportunity to shuffle a few key staff around. Katsuhiko Ichii will become head of development organisation, and a new development management team will be headed by Nobuyuki Matsushima, Jun Takeuchi, Taichiro Genbun, Hiroyuki Kobayashi and hutaro Kobayashi.

Mikami, Kamiya and now Inafune... WTF is happening to my Capcom? :'(

Edit - After re-reading the article I now feel bad for jumping down the guy's throat in regards to the whole westernization and big budgeting of most Capcom franchises. It seems as though that was a more company mandated line they fed him to pimp out to the media. He notes that he would actually find a lot more joy and satisfaction working on the kinds of projects he'd like to on a smaller scale... Damn.

Oh, I love watching speedpaints already. It was mostly because of them why I decided to try and give PS a go once more (plus it'd look nice on a resume if I could put down some form of proficiency with the program). As for the version stuffs, well I've been playing around with CS5 for a bit. I'll admit I was slacking for a bit between the brush tweaking/finding/hunting, flip-flopping between PS and SAI, and other things taking time away from me playing with the programs or even sketching regularly, but I'm gonna get it soon.

Sorry for going so off topic though, thanks for the advice and great cat there. :)

Alright then. That's all great to know. Sometimes, I feel intimidated by PS and find myself looking at the stuff people can create in it and wonder how they do it without consulting the pros. Guess I just need to sit down and get familiar with it again. BTW, which version are you using?

Quick sketch. I haven't used Photoshop in a long time to draw, so I felt like going back to it.

I would seriously love to see your process as well as learn some tips on how you use your brushes in PS. Seriously, every time I try to tame the beast, nothing ever looks halfway close to what I would want it to be like. Do you start with a mass of color and work from there upward or do you actually outline/sketch first?

Edit - Epic Freudian slip right there. XD

SO. MANY. GAMES. ARGH! XD

Holy [parasitic bomb], episode 3 is [tornado fang]ing incredible. I can't even say anything more than that since it'd kill the premise, but goddamn, I never thought I'd see things in the part two episode alone in anything, anime, TV or otherwise.

WATCH THIS [parasitic bomb] GUYS. XD

411
I still have to make my huge post about becoming a recent convert to the wonderment of Comic-Con, but serious-[tornado fang]ing-ly Ishikawa's design is the best. Like no contest first. Ask PB, I was all like "oh hell yeah, that one's great". Runner up is Kaji's because as Mayl looking as she is, Metool hat is awesome. XD

That sounds believeable. XD

Speaking of deaths, that hard demo level was sadistic as hell.

I'm still mad that I was beasting MMU like I was and totally screwed up in the home stretch because of the bird egg that I had actually calulated for. XD

Ladies and gentlemen, I can literally walk there. That library is such a common stomping ground for me that I seriously asked myself why they would have an event like this there -- it feels too ordinary for a Capcom event. XD

After finding out I'm in good standings in my programming course, I've decided to skip tomorrow and be there. Hope I'll get to see all the RPM faithful tomorrow! 8)

I just started watching the most recent episode, and holy [tornado fang] they really played up that Hancock and Luffy scene didn't they? XD

Also, chapter was awesome. Loved Zoro's moment at the end there. Finally, Sentomaru & 2 Pacifistas as chew toy bosses? I can dig it.

Kenshin had life in him?  :\

Kenshin (and by extension, the Rurouni Kenshin english dub) was great.

I can't believe no one posted this. There was an update today on the staff behind MML3 and JESUS [tornado fang], it's nothing but superstars and veterans:

Quote
Hello again, This is MML3 director Masakazu Eguchi!

[...]

First of all, as it says in profile on the left, I got my first shot at directing my own title with Mega Man Legends 2. Before that, I was working as a planner. I was in charge of things like the Nino Island Ruins, Calinca Ruins, and Pirate Train missions.

I was still a freshman back then, and truth is that there are some things I wanted to do with Legends 2, but didn’t.

Even as I poured myself into the EXE and Star Force projects, I held onto those things and stored them away somewhere in a corner of my heart. This time, as director of Legends 3, inside I am like, “Yesss! It’s time!”

Now, let me tell you who will be working with me to make Legends 3...

First, we have Yoshinori Kawano, director of Legends 1 and Legends 2 who will be overseeing the overall Legends 3 project and offering his unique insight to the rest of the staff into what makes Legends the legend it is. He is as much my spiritual mentor now as he was then, and as strict as he is kind.

Also, we have reunited art directors, planners, designers from the early Legends titles as well as enlisted support from their students, the members EXE and Star Force teams. To top it off, we’ve sprinkles in leaders and key staff from the Monster Hunter, Lost Planet, and Basara titles. I think that it is safe to say that we have put together a team of talent who will best be able to combine the best of both old and new for this project.

Full article here. Meanwhile, I'm now even more hyped for this. Can't wait for Comic Con. (Hopefully I'll be there. 8) )

I'm sorry that I can't even do this professionally and offer contrasts to your opinion, but I just disagree strongly with every issue you've brought up here. Like, really.

And damn, was I idling in this thread so long that I posted this after the lock? XD

421
That was another voice actor of the same name. Sounds bizarre, but apparently it's true.

Ah okay.

422
At the very least they'd better get Tron and Tiesel's VAs back.  Not that I expect the US branch to really give a flying [tornado fang] when it comes to localizing anything...

Didn't Tiesel's VA pass away sometime ago? Or am I thinking of his Japanese VA?

TFS is gonna be making a One Piece Abridged too?...I NEED to see this.

I've been waiting YEARS for someone to start a OP parody series. I was praying that My Way Entertainment (Juggernaut [sonic slicer] series, Viral) would try their hands at it, but TFS doing it might even be better than that.

Just finished watching this thing.  Pretty crazy [parasitic bomb] (no pun intended).  Love the art style too.  I'm hooked.

Agreed with everything. Also, the music is pretty [tornado fang]ing catchy. I love that ending theme.

425
Can I watch this episode anywhere else without having to sign up for a ton of bullshit?

Edit: This looks legit.  [tornado fang] that crunchy place.

There's always torrents as well. I just added the crunchyroll link for the hell of it. I should find another streaming place for it.
