You know, there's a part of me that prefers this.
i wouldn't put in Rosalina or Midna. with potential new Mario and Zelda games coming out, their notability will be in the tank. come to think of it, i should tweak my Link moveset to eliminate the TP-specific stuff.
The Pokemon anime is really DEEP and it's SERIOUS BUSINESS GUYS
"...You got EVA in my Pokemon" is really my only response to this aside from "cool story bro".

I'm still trekking after 5 stickers. UGH!
Agree on the bombs and sudden death.
Pikachu...I don't know. His Down+A Smash should have a little less priority, but other than that, he's about right. Maybe put Thunder a set distance above him? I dunno.
She's not the lead, but Rosalina is hardly eye candy (well, to me she is) and would do well. Midna's Twili form? Now THAT was eye candy, and it was so sweet, it tasted bad.
Tether Recovery was ridiculous; that should go. But then so was the Kirby characters' flight, Pit and Metaknight's gliding and Peach's floating. And Marth's Up+B priority.
Final Smash could be changed. I'd like to see it something akin to Dissidia's Break system where the character that's doing better gets to lay the smack down.
Create-a-character? Well, maybe if the next console has Miis, that would be alright. In the meantime, there's too many gaming icons to be pitting LOL ORIGENUHL CHARACTERZ against.
).

Nah. Putting the characters in a semi-realistic light has really helped the image of the series, and has provided for some nicely detailed character models. R.O.B. and Toon Link looked like they had never looked before, and looked great.
Leave cel-shading to spinoffs, and the "squiggly" style to sports. That would be consistent.
change the gravity so it's faster and less floaty

As you can probably tell, I don't like Star Fox very much.

Erasure, my favorite band. On the left is Andy Bell and on the right is Vince Clarke.
This is the first time I've drawn them, so it was tough to get the picture to look like them. But I had fun. They're a great exercise in contrast.

Nintendo played it very conservatively in terms of diversifying the characters [For Brawl]. Lyn should damn well have been playable. She could have offered a different style of swordsmanship that Smash desperately needed. Saki is another one as well. Why couldn't he have been just like his AT, a nimble speeder with a crazy mix of short and long range prowess? Lil' Mac is another one, he's a [tornado fang]ing boxer, something that just screams interesting in the world of Smash. There are others though (Issac, Mike Jones, Takamaru, Lip, Ashley, Captain Syrup, Daisy, etc.) I guess what I'm trying to say for this part is, why is it that Brawl, that was supposed to be this hugely different game from Melee & 64 feels like it's trapped in the Melee days in terms of the roster? Why is it that Brawl didn't have more unique spell casters, witches and warlocks? Why do the Star Fox characters all still share heavy similarities? Why the [tornado fang] does Ganondorf, the [chameleon sting]ing king of darkness, still play mostly like Captain Falcon? Does that even make sense? (Excluding his side special which is one of the best, most fitting and creative moves for him imo)
[...] It's the truth, there were characters that should have been in Brawl because they would have played wildly unlike anything that was in the series up until that point and there are characters in the game right now that feel like they still have so much more progression and potential for unique skills and play styles.
