And since I couldn't fit it in the title, PSP to get Tales Of Destiny Full Voice Edition.

Didn't see it mentioned here so I'll repost:

Quote
Fresh Rumors from 2ch! We know how this goes.

PSP to get Tales Of Destiny Full Voice Edition.
DS to get Cheegle Fushigi no Dungeon.
ToTs real name is Tales Of Bataille.

Tales Of Bataille is the Wii game we seen before. The main heroes name is 地帯 (so it's either Zone or Zona I guess. Gonna go with Zona.) hes a 19 year old hitman who gets sent on a big mission to kill a very well know gang member named たくましい (Mach?) and in the process ends up kidnapping his daughter named ミーガン (Meg?..Megan? I have no clue.) anyway he steals her because apparently her dad was nearly gonna kill him so he took her and ran. From here on out he wanders around trying to find another way to kill Mach. The big draw point to the game is that Zone can talk to random people in towns and enter battles with them for money and stuff I guess that ties in with the name since Bataille is french for Battle. Sakuraba is doing the soundtrack and the artists is apparently Atsuro Yomino who did the Code Geass manga (lol). The games release date is TBA.

Hopefully we get scans in a few hours these seem pretty true considering how Namco works.

For ToD: FVE it will be using Eternias battle system since it will be a port of the PSX version not the PS2 version (maybe because it was to fast for the PSP?) new sprites and everything from the original will return but be voiced. So I guess that means no Barbatos and stuff. Set to be released this summer.

Cheegle Fushigi no Dungeon is a DS game based around the Cheegles from Abyss. Its one of those mystery dungeon games I guess and you use different cheegles to finish puzzles and stuff. The poster mentions that other animals from the series join with the Cheegles (he said Zappie is seen in one picture.) set to be released around May.

Honestly, I really can't pick a favorite out of the Big 4 in Mario 2, but at the same time, I don't use them all evenly like Vixy does. They are all just too awesome and it can be a bit troublesome at times to just stick to a favorite or two.

How awesome was this update?

So awesome.

Honestly, I wish Sony and Nintendo would find together again. Not just because the outcome would we highly interesting, but because the console market doesn't need 3 competitors.

I would honestly agree but at the same time, crossing each other's streams doesn't sound like it'll ever be considered by either side. What I'm still waiting on is a bit more blasphemous though...

Nintendo/SEGA of Japan anyone? 8D

A+ thread. Will post in it later. XD

3558
Align, it wouldn't be funny in that case. XD

It's basically like this:

1. Guy IRL gets in a hit-n-run incident.
2. Person who hit the guy probably mentioned it to one of his online friends
3. Online friend, in an effort to help bring the guy to justice, sends his Mii to the local authorities
4. Local authorities print up those wanted signs and begin posting them around the intersection where the incident took place.
5. ???
6. Profit and laughs when the internet hears about it.

3559
Oh man, I can't stop laughing at this one. I can't even summarize it really. I'll just quote and hotlink it for everyone's entertainment. Also you need to see the picture on this page to truly get the extent of this one. XD

Quote from: Kotaku
Calling all cars: Be on lookout for this Mii in connection with a hit and run. Driver last seen in Moo Moo Meadows wearing Mii Outfit B. Suspect is believed to have unlimited blue shells.

No, really, that is a wanted poster and that is a Mii on it, and that made me laugh so hard I sprained my epiglottis. The Kanagawa kops (Japan) are searching for the Mii, or a someone who looks like it, anyway. The blogs that have posted about this are inconclusive as to whether that is the actual Mii of the actual suspect (to say nothing of how they might have gotten it) or if the cops used the Mii creator to build their composite. Oh my God, I hope it is the latter. Would that really fly in Japanese court?

Jesus, that is still funny the 529th time. The WTF look is priceless.

And now, having teed this up, I hand it off to you, the commenterariat, to make it one thousand percent more hilarious than I ever could.

This is just too much for me. XD XD XD

Dunno.

Consider this:

Sony and Nintendo never split and Square and Nintendo never split. Imagine what we'd have nowadays.

A Wii with the power of the PS3.

That's some scary [parasitic bomb] right there. Also, SEGA would still be swinging with the big guys.

I guess I could search for and grab a few past NPD results from NeoGAF, but really, that won't be a terribly good starting place. I wish if I could find the software sales lists from release to that point though, that'd be a good way to find out whether or not the Wii is similar to the "god of console libraries'" early years, something that I've always suspected it was.

Gaming / Re: Sonic Unleashed

That was honestly the biggest reason why Chip could get a pass from me STM. Just thinking about the dynamic they gave him and Sonic make me wonder if they were going for a hypothetical "Tails (Sonic 2) like character" reboot. This was made even more apparent if one watched Night of The Werehog which while cheesy, was actually fun cheesy due to the brazen hero/timid sidekick angle they used. It was almost like 90s cartoons, the direction Sonic should always keep. I just hope that SEGA understands that Chip is a Sonic character done right and try to make the other truly important characters (Amy, Knuckles, Metal Sonic) more reflective of the nature of the series.

The Wii will surprass the PS2 ?
Yes, eventually.

...in just a year ?

Mr. Iwata is smoking some of those purple mushrooms that grow in Miyamoto's garden. Godammit nintendo, overconfidence was your downfall back in the n64 era, overconfidence was Sony's big mistake with the PS3.

Everybody who posts this and thinks along this thought train really needs to re-read the article I linked to. He said he wants it to happen in the future, not right away.

PB, that's pretty much the way I thought of the whole thing, hence my second response in this thread:

Dunno really as it's still moving units worldwide. What I'm more interested in is the idea that the PS2 had one year where it suddenly became "THE" system to everyone with a tremendous turnout of games. If the Wii is truly in the same situation, I'd just like a glimpse inside the candy box to know what kinds of games we can expect.

But yeah, surpassing the PS2 is really a long term goal more than it is a "we'll do it in less time" goal.
