Hey, Jericho, I'll take you on if you're still up for it.

FC's in the other topic.

Sure, I'll be right there.

then there's the fact that all game mag reviews suck and should not be trusted, and most certainly not be used as the determining factor if you buy a game or not.

Oh, of course. I was just tacking on an extra bit for thought digestion.

All I know is that being a Space Pirate and running into a fully equipped Samus would be the scariest and most tense moment in any video game. XD

Then there's also the fact that IGN Nintendo (mainly Matt & Bozon) desperately want Sonic to return to glory, but are also two of the biggest persecutors of bad design choices in the Sonic games as of late.

Sonic and the Black Knight NYCC gameplay

You know, I just don't get it, how is it that SEGA can perfectly nail a stable Sonic engine, tease the [tornado fang] out of us with gameplay that looks good, but still flood the game with unnecessary design choices?

EDIT - What the [tornado fang]? Momentum based platforming, is that you? Weird thing is, the sword swings will break the flow so quickly while he's on foot.

I want to try this one before I criticize it from a gameplay video, but damn, it just seems like this is the first 3D Sonic that looks like if it removed the sword based gameplay and was given a different coat of paint similar to let's say the creativity of Unleashed's day stages, would be completely amazing. And on Wii no less.

Cool, but what happened to the older one? I remember it was more naturally translated than literally. "Grandpa bird" worked much better than "TOJI ONI CHAN".

QFT.

She's a mix of the titty monster and Sakura Leic

This comparison just made everything 1000 times better. XD

I'd just like to mention the work and detail Retro Studios gave the Space Pirates. They came off mostly as very scientific and ruthless, but some of those scan logs were hilarious, like keeping Metroids as pets or, in Prime 2, the apparent hatred between Command Unit and Science Unit.

I especially loved it in Prime 3's logbook buildup where all of them were telling the story of how they shat bricks because Dark Samus was on one of their transports and as they are saying all is lost, it's like they had an "ALL GLORY TO HYPNOTOAD" moment and started revering Dark Samus as a goddess. XD

Four test subjects were horribly broken and twisted when they engaged our morph ball prototypes.

Seriously, I'd love to see this. XD

well since its on wii its just a fear

Huh? ???

The game doesn't have any gesture based moves. Besides, Classic Controller support was confirmed such a loooong time ago.

Apparently a side story to the Prime Universe as told from the Space Pirates POV.

Translation: "Follow Metroid Prime's history from the perspective of the Space Pirates."

Honestly, you should take this one with a grain of salt as it could mean anything from a full fledged Hunters-esque game (which could allegedly star Sylux in the main role), or just an update on the main JP Metroid site or the ongoing Metroid e-manga. Whatever it is though, consider me highly intrigued.

We've finally hit the mother load of Muramasa footage it seems. New pics went out today, along with the final box art for the game, and there was much rejoicing about the lands. See the spoiler tag below for details.

And yeah, I think I just about came seeing these. XD

That's what I'm guessing.  That flashback is also in conflict with Mav Hunter X (Sigma's eye scars).

Wasn't the Maverick Hunter X series supposed to be a reboot of most of the storyline anyways? I think this one could be excused due to that. Also:

I think it's Axl.

I don't think X ever toilet trained him, because he made a huge mess all over X7.

Brilliance.

Just a quick request, but it might be a bit of a doozy depending on how much stuff is out there. Does anyone happen to have a torrent or rapidshare zip file or maybe just a link to a gallery containing all of Hitoshi Ariga's individual Rockman art, Megamix or otherwise?  I'm primarily looking for the latter. Many thanks in advance if anyone's up to this challenge.

They're hilarious though.

Also, holy crap, that match was both terrible and awesome at the same time. XD

Wow, some of those KOs were glorious Hypershell. Still though, bailing out of a landmaster with double my weight straight into a Green Hill Zone pit was hilarious. XD

I'm in as well. I'll be testing a few things during the matches though, so try not to go too hard on me. 8D
