Amazing indeed. Too bad I could only hear the first track due to this computer crapping up every time I tried playing anything else. D:

Old school Sonic definitely was "black". My friend had to convince me over the weekend, but the way he put it together, that much is definitely true.

I was convinced with the animation that played after the Sonic CD god end scenario. I mean seriously, launching a friggin' rock to get the last laugh on Robotnik? Then there was the pose after it was over... 8D

Hmm, signposts through Silver....

WANT. XD

Edit - Seriously thinking about this, I think Platinum could honestly do it, maybe even better than we'd expect.

Just leaving this hilarious bit here for enjoyment's sake. Also spoiler tagged because I imagine hearing it in it's proper context would make for a funnier event:

Punch-Out!! (NES - VC)

Oh. My. God. As a late bloomer into this series, I now know why there is such a huge and rabid fanbase for these games. This [parasitic bomb] is gaming cocaine pure and simple. The rhythm boxing is addictive and excellent.

Needless to say, my frothing demand for Punch-Out Wii has shot up 1000 fold. XD

Plenty of Mario games have stories. Just nothing with a particular timeline. Zelda doesn't have one either, but it tries to make people believe it exists.

On the other hand, Sonic and Metroid have stories and proper timelines, but they all have their issues, just like Rockman. Between those, I'd say Rockman's been doing the best job.

Oh I definitely know this, agree and respect the people that make it all flow together well, but sometimes, doesn't it ever get slightly tiresome to hear the same debates over and over again? XD

MM9 Techno Remixes Part 1

MM9 Techno Remixes Part 2

Were these posted before anywhere on the Board?  I think this OniBD fellow did a great job on these Remixes.

FFFFFFFF at the opening theme techno'd. I need that MP3 like yesterday. XD

EDIT - Man, Magma Burning never fails remix wise. Never.

You know, sometimes, I read threads like this and imagine what would happen if other franchises tried to input stories into their games. I'd love to see how many eloquent debates would be had with like let's say the Mario series in that case. XD

Amen~ ^^ gameplay, music and lovely art before story~

Truth. Even though I enjoy a good (enough) yarn in my games, it's ultimately the game itself that I'm interested in. The excessive want for a cohesive story in the X series though makes me wonder how it could ever be handled well enough without the fan base getting up in arms over it.

Then again, there's always Ariga for a Rockman X9 Megamix. 8D

DASH / Re: Nino Ruins: The slow lag nightmare is finally over~
« on: March 14, 2009, 10:13:33 PM »
God I loved that dungeon. And I played it with MAXIMUM LAG.

Same. Honestly though, the only disappointment I had with that dungeon (if you can call it a disappointment) was that in the huge water filled room right before the actual key, there wasn't a [tornado fang] awesome huge aquatic boss to deal with. I mean the area had the perfect atmosphere for it and when I got in the room I was all "holy [parasitic bomb], get out get out get out quick!" There have only been a few times that's happened to me in games. XD

But then again, Klaymore was awesome so all's well that ends well.

« on: March 14, 2009, 07:03:58 AM »
I could actually Wall Jump somewhat high, when I was younger and thinner!  XD

This except I think I could do it if I had more practice spots, was bored and well leaner than I am.

Actually, I thought PB would react...

Duck Tales 1&2, Chip N' Dale: Rescue Rangers 1&2, Darkwing Duck, Tale Spin, Adventures in Magic Kingdom, Aladdin on SNES, the Mickey Mouse Magical Quest series... all of them, quality games~ ^w^

Starry likes Disney-related things too~ x3 </wii>

Must not fap! XD

HD, oh HD, how you like to scew with the west's minds with pretty graphics, which we have been plauged with bad games like Awesome Possum.

While you do have a point, please refrain from waxing poetic with broken English. It hurts to read it sometimes. :|
