You're supposed to be thrown into a game in the middle of immediate danger, with little to no idea what to do, and an unhelpful instruction manual. It's all part of the magic.
Differences in generations my friend. It's also the reason why games with shorter lengths, little to no emphasis on story or multiplayer, yet stellar gameplay (Mirror's Edge, MadWorld) are frowned upon.
Since this is related to the thread, one of my nerd wet dream games would be something in the vein of a 3D Zelda 1 using Motion+. *drools*

So I just wantched the opening of DBK and my God, the nostalgia rush.
Something that the opening really showed me though is that the first arc of the series was the best in terms of details with the fighting animations. I was rewatching some of the older DBZ episodes & movies recently and noted it, but never really came to a conclusion until I saw this.

Though, there are some things that are going to sound hilariously stupid, or just stupid overall. Nintendo, do your own work, like the hard-working team of Inti Creates! In fact, loan the SF franchise to them, and they can bring SF back into it's roots~

And for the record, Dylan, StarFox SNES Engine Programmer from Argonaut... Say what you will about how you aren't fond of working on the series, or trolling the Wii & gamers who happen to like the series... Your words mean nothing considering EAD aped the [parasitic bomb] out of the original design in just the second entry. Let's not forget what kinda stuff can be pulled off with the silly Wii Remote on a series like this.
