There aren't enough Jet Set Radio, Ristar, NightS, Space Channel 5, or Phantasy Star traditional RPG fan games of quality or note though, so even then, it's still slim pickings for oldbie SEGA lovers.

It's really all about the Benjamins in the end. SEGA had to cut so much just to live on life support this whole time. They throw out their older licenses as an attempt to cash grab as best as possible and hope to make a comeback, but along the way, they lost too much of their talent and are now just doomed to mediocrity.

Yeah, that's another annoying thing that's reaching near meme like status. Sonic + 2D does not automatically equal awesome. Hell, there's no guarantee it'll even equal good. The problem is no one is making good game design, no matter what the dimension, using Sonic at Sega anymore.

Muramasa is having a release party at Nintendo World on Sat, Sept. 5th.  I need to figure out how I can get that game.

FFFFF

Now I don't know what to do. I still haven't preordered it yet and I really wanted the wall scroll.

Ah, no, it works with whatever Wii Remotes you have available currently. WSR has one packed in, as do the other titles I mentioned earlier.

No sadly. Which is why I'm really hoping more people come on board and start making some wacky stuff using it. Wii Sports Resort really made a great stride forward with motion controls. I'll be pissed if no one else picks up from there though.

In my opinion, very [tornado fang]ing yes. XD

The leap in quality is very noticeable and real. Thing about it is, currently the only games of note that are using it are two EA Sports titles (Tiger Woods 10 Wii & Grand Slam Tennis) and Wii Sports Resort. Out of those 3 I can only recommend WSR just because of the diversity. It might however be a hit or miss for some folk because of the brevity of the gameplay if you don't intend on playing it regularly.

Honestly, Archery alone was worth the price of admittance. It was just so unexpectedly good.

Is that the newest Wii game that was released? The one with shooting baskets and stuff?

Yeah, that's the one with MotionPlus.

Wii & DS. While I have monstrous backlogs for both libraries, I still would like to get one or both of the other home consoles this gen. Unless of course more things set out for the glorious PC Gaming Master Race. 8D

I thought Sonic Unleashed for the 306/PS3 was pretty awesome myself.

+1. I'm only irked by certain design decisions (QTEs in general, but using them for successful long jumps are still abominable in my eyes), but otherwise it was solid.

For me, it's usually NES & SNES Classic/X games that I'll play more than any other.

This and Zero series games sums me up. If I had a more convenient way of playing the Legends games, I'd probably have those up here as well.

33%?  Last I heard, it was at 54% Failure Rate.

This is correct. It's really bad business when something like this gets away without more public spectacle. The generally accepted failure rate for most electronic products is something like 3 - 8% or so after all IIRC.

Derp, that goes without saying at this point. Nintendo's used up most of their old nostalgia character reserves now. The only one with a higher public standing than Mike for us Western folk currently is Little Mac and he's gotten his second debut already.

Remember the Capcom-Nintendo-Flagship partnerships?
And the days when Nintendo published Capcom's games outside Japan?
I think it's a good idea to renew their partnership and give us what could be the best VS. game out there. ^^
I'd love to see the characters that we have been talking about all the time (Firebrand, and so on ^^).

Terribly late, but if they did go through with a Nintendo VS. Capcom and they went for obscure characters on both sides of the spectrum, fighting game of the forever. Takamaru vs. Dante? Firebrand vs. Pit? [tornado fang] yes. XD

You know, I do believe that MS was very foolish to make this move, but what I'm more shocked at is how many people continued buying 360s with the unreliable hardware. I actually know someone IRL who has had at least 8 different instances of RRoD and 1 E74 error, the Jasper equivalent of a RRoD. Funniest part is this guy lost quite a bit of money on each instance after the 3rd time.

One thing's for sure: any X-Men-related series that has Rogue, they'll butcher her character. Nothing I've seen has done it worse than the movies, though. Rogue in the old cartoon from the 90's kicked ass, though.

100% agreed. XD

I've been hearing a lot about this game and how it's good, but there's something of a biggish controversy over the game itself as well due to it borrowing from Orson Scott Card's literature. Needless to say, that's drowning out the game itself and it's sad, but reading up on Card, it seems like it's not without merits.

I couldn't find the morph ball.

Real men don't play with balls? XD
