Heh, I had a passive interest in Naruto yeeeears ago and I thought that this was the better setup.

Hmm, maybe I'll catch up with Naruto too and complete the Shonen Trinity soon.

Well Miyamoto and Iwata have pretty much canned the idea of a WiiHD.

Which means we're in for one heck of a ride considering they're not sure what to do about 1080p. They'd like Pikmin to be in it but not Wii Sports?

I mean, I get it, but why go through all that headache? Just make the darn thing output in 1080p, upscale previous games.

Uhh, not sure where this came from, but the last year or so the two of them have been kinda chanting that they now have to accommodate for HD in the future since a good percentage of folks have it now. Hell, the last month or so, the two of them have been fueling the rumor mill with their passive but frequent "HD is cool" comments. Seriously, wat is this? I don't even

Sadly enough, not really. There's New Play Control: Pikmin (& Pikmin 2 if you homebrew and import from Japan) which proves that the IR is godly for them and then there's Little King's Story which I've heard was great but didn't use the IR pointer.

I swear, nothing gets me more confused than people slandering Miyamoto. It's as if making Nintendogs or Wii (name here) erases the fact that the man ever had any part in Super Mario Bros. 3, A Link to The Past, Ocarina of Time, a a metric [parasitic bomb] ton of other things the way people go on.

Not to say I endorse everything he does, but seriously, how can anyone not give him the benefit of a doubt with his ideas after looking at all of that?

I think he's going after Sengoku, but I wouldn't be surprised if he caused copious amounts of collateral damage so that if he wins or loses, the Marines won't be fighting the remainder of this war at full.

Apparently Oda mentioned this at Day 2 of JUMP Festa last year. I found it on NUMEROUS blogs when I was doing some research for the new section of my site.

I totally missed this.

Perhaps I was too busy having multiple orgasms over Jinbei.

Anyway, the 'partner' part is 'nakama' so how you interpret that...is up to you. Vivi IS their 'nakama' but is she currently a member of the CREW? No. So in many ways this could have several meanings aside from the obvious, "OMIGOD BENTHAM IS GONNA BE THEIR DANCER!!!!!1111FTW"

So this might be something that's already happened.

So, things look like there only going to get more awesome after this arc. Honestly, there are so many contenders for this now and each one would bring something new to the table, but I'm going to take a wild guess and say this will refer to either Croc, Jinbei, or Hancock (please, make it so!) with the wildest wildcards being Vivi (since it was mentioned and makes sense actually) and Squardo (you never know with Oda).

Here is One Piece Chapter 563: “One man, one heart”

[TN: That's a Japanese saying. The meaning is along the lines of one for
all and all for one. Or so...]

Marco flies to Squad, where he explains his reasons. During the fighting
he came in contact with Akainu. Sengoku and Whitebeard had an arrangement
not to kill Ace and Whitebeard’s men and in return the New World pirates
and their crews would be annihilated. Squad’s own pirate crew was destroyed
by Roger.

The marines knew this and told Squad about their plans. Besides, it was
made public that Ace is Roger’s son. It seems Sengoku announced Ace’s connection
to Roger for that reason and he knew how reckless Squad is. The real reason
for the Kuma army to be dispatched was only to defeat the New World pirates.
When Whitebeard heard all this, he says “Even so, they are all my sons!”
Marco and all his friends try to reach out, but see the fairly beaten Whitebeard
and their believes are weakened.
Whitebeard sees this and says: “No one is the strongest for ever. One man,
one heart.”
Then Whitebeard’s anger at the dirty marines explode. Sengoku prepares himself,
too. Once more the war begins.

'The 49th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine has announced on Monday that Eichiro Oda's One Piece "episode 0" manga will be animated. In addition, the pirate manga prequel will be published in the 53rd issue of Weekly Shonen Jump in Japan. As previously announced, the first 1.5 million moviegoers at this December's One Piece Film Strong World screenings will receive a "0th volume" manga volume. This manga story will depict the world of One Piece 20 years ago — in particular, the Pirate King Gold Roger versus the legendary pirate "Gold Lion" Shiki.

The animated version of the "episode 0" manga will be released on 3,000 limited-edition DVDs that will be given away in collaboration with the House Foods brand.

Viz Media has published the 22nd volume of the original manga in North America this month, and it is running the latest chapters from Japan in the English Shonen Jump magazine this fall. Funimation has been releasing the television anime version and the eighth film, One Piece: The Desert Princess and The Pirates: Adventure in Alabasta.
