Just add votes to whatever you can really. Also keep in mind that you can keep changing the vote until the last day.

You're all winners in the eyes of Protoman Blues.

This as well.

I think it's safe to say that we'll see it in this one, especially if they are aiming to make a more challenging Zelda.

Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma has told ONM to expect surprises at next year's E3 as Nintendo prepares to reveal an overhaul of the critically-acclaimed series.

When asked how different the new Zelda title will be when it arrives on Wii next year, Aonuma replied: "It is something we used to talk about with Mr Miyamoto, and he and I agree that if we are following the same structure again and again, we might not be able to give long time Zelda fans a fresh surprise."

"So we have been trying something new in terms of the structure of the Wii version of the new Zelda game this time. I am really hopeful that people will be surprised with the changes we have implemented for this Wii version."

Aonuma also confirmed that alongside full MotionPlus support, we'll be able to see more of what his team have been working on at next year's E3. "I hope that we can show you something at the E3 show next year and it is something we are hopeful will be surprising," he added.

The full, in-depth interview with Eiji Aonuma will be published in Official Nintendo Magazine issue 51, out December 18th. Issue 50, which contains the world's first Zelda: Spirit Tracks review, an exclusive Shigeru Miyamoto interview and much more, goes on sale from Friday 20th November. You can buy Official Nintendo Magazine online right here and get it delivered to your door, or even subscribe if the mood takes you. You get a copy of Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games if you fancy it.

So we're guaranteed surprises from the next Zelda game on Wii but what do you think they will be? Tell us in the comments thread!

To hype or not to hype, that is the question. Seriously, I'm happy that people are actually putting out time frames now and that Aonuma/Shiggy are finally talking about them, but it doesn't instill confidence with the amount of "maybe" & "hopefully" they pepper their sentences with.

Either way, 2010 can't come any [tornado fang]ing faster. The news reel has gotten so slow and boring for me lately (yawn more MW2 discussions), it's almost unbearable for me. Bring on the epic new news, overhype, general lulz and awesome already!

See, I myself enjoyed the ZX series, but I still feel as though in some aspects it is a step down from the Zero series. That's my only real gripe in all the things I say about ZX.

Same here. Actually at this point, I'd love it if it could just have some wicked pixel art. (Looks dreamily at Shantae DS or that other mock up for a 16 bit Megaman X9.)

I'll just go back on topic by repeating what I said earlier:

A MMX platformer with X's MMXCM armor would be cool.

Oh hell yes. That armor was amazing.

The only people who hate Toad's Turnpike are people who can't dodge the cars properly :P

Hell, even when they catch me off guard in my years of experience with the game, I can still get a good laugh out of it, especially in mirror mode when they dog pile you. It just makes it that much better when you pull a victory out in the end. XD

Indeed.

You know, usually re-envisionings of Mario stuff to be more true to life (well as true to live as Mario can get XD) usually don't jive well with me, but this one is fantastic. XD

And I ABSOLUTELY don't agree with this.

This. Seriously, two of my favorite art designs of all time (the ones used in the Jet Set Radio Series & Mario Strikers Charged) are based on the sketchy style and to say that is just demeaning to them.

X / Re: What do you want to see in X9?

Well, if you want Zero-series style with better detail, that's basically what ZX is.  And that's where it should stay, IMHO.

Good Lord, no! (Reaches for the Megaman Zero Official Complete Works)

Also, sketchy style =/= lack of detail/finesse. I think that's one of the major reasons why I knock the ZX art down some notches, everything has this pristine cleanliness to it due to the tighter line work. In the Zero series, things were somewhat rougher and as a result (to me), things had added character & detail.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU

Trust me when I say compared to most other gamers, I have an incredibly weird sense of taste. I liked the challenge of racing along side those giant cars & trucks (in comparison to our karts) since it forced a bit of tension into the racing (more so when you're racing into oncoming traffic in Mirror Mode), I absolutely loved the music for the level, and style wise, it's one of my favorite Mario Kart levels ever due to them trying to stick to a "downtown end of day" setting.

You know, when racing Canary Mary on 360, I had WAY less trouble, cause I found an AI bug with her. If you're ahead of her, she'll speed up, but if you're behind, she'll slow down. So just tail her until the final stretch, then mash like hell. I wonder if it works on N64 as well.

It does, but good lord is it hard to pull off mashing on the A Button to keep her in check. If you don't keep a certain distance behind her, she'll blitz off and the game auto disqualifies you.
