Alright, i'll admit CM was a very, *cough*Rough*cough*, game. Despite some interesting stuff, the game just didn't feel like it was trying very hard, especially with the graphics. Then again, I didn't progress much into it after spending half-a-day dealing with that second form of that weird Doctor guy when you're retrieving Cinnamon, with no success.  :( (Brilliant use of the awesome title music, though)

I guess we'll just know what the next X game will be when it's announced, and all we can possibly do is hope that it comes soon.  :)

I propose a new challenge for RPM. List all of Capcom's series. The requirement is that the game MUST have had at least 1 sequel or be apart of a chain of spin offs (wasn't the Gargoyle in Demon's Quest or whatever the enemy from Ghost's and Goblins?) They're remaking Bionic Commando, they've made sequels to Mega Man and Street Fighter, and I heard somewhere they were doing another game from an old series.

To correct the bolded, it WAS remade. Bionic Commando: Rearmed, for the PSP and PC, and can be purchased on the Playstation Network (PS3) and Xbox Live Arcade (360).  :\

this is rather funny. anyone who expected a spectacular Sonic game was only fooling themselves. its like actually believing John McCain could have won the presidency.

.. If he ever did, he'd then lose it by publicly saying, "Yippie-kai-yay, motherfuckers."  :)

If it were to take place after X8, the more detail-picky fans might go fugnuts if he were to have his "original" armor, not the X8 thinner armor (even if Capcom states that he switched back, I bet). If anything, it could just be an upgrade of the original sprites to the newer look. I don't dislike the original sprites, I just don't want to listen to more complaining about "backwards recession" (what with MM9 not having slide and charge) from other groups and such.

... Otherwise, I don't have much of a point to prove here and am not even thinking very straight due to a massive headache. >_<

440
Okay, I get the point, but I still think it'd be an appropriate style if they were to SNES-itize the more modern X designs and such.  :\

441
What about taking the more recent designs and spriting them SNES style and making the game play the the first three?

Example of style or something:

(from Sprites INC - it was apparently ripped straight from X8 as alittle bit of fanservice or something)

... Wasn't Ash beaten by bird pokemon and shocked lord knows how much already before then? The world of Pokemon is also hardly "normal," especially when the whole world is pretty much based around cutesy cock fighting. It's a kids show, not Evangelion or the like. I don't care if this guy has a psychology major or what, he needs to get a damn life and simply see that it is for KIDS. Not to mention the games, which introduce various characters and scenarios that are then put into the anime, also debunk this majorly.  ::)

i remember Reboot on abc saturdays that show was AWESOME that big purple cube coming down 8D

The best quote of all time that I can remember came from that show, where the kids had to catch that wacky raccoon. The blue main kid did various parodies, including Elmer Fudge, and at one point the raccoon turned a corner only to see him start singing:
*jamaican accent*
"I'm gonna make, a raccoon hat!"

... Lame, I know, but it certainly brings back memories, and makes me feel old for a 15-year-old.  :\

.. What about a character select screen where you can choose from each of the "Nintendo universes," which then allows you to pick the available characters from that 'universe' via a drop-down menu or something. Ya know, to save room on the menu while allowing for a large amount of characters at the same time?

X8: Dark Mantis, Gravity Antonion (I believe), Moon (although that was a bit easier)
MHX: Sigma Stages 2+ mainly, although Launch Octopus had one or two parts I had to remind myself about

Alright, my experience with X8 is lacking, but it's not the 3D that throws some off in MHX on those parts; it's the fact that the camera, fitted to the screen, must vertically scroll in those points. Vertical scrolling in MM/RM games tend to lead to annoyances, just look at the GB MM/RM games that replicated the levels but had vertical scrolling due to the screen resolution. In the original NES games, we usually had no normal vertical scrolling; you saw spikes as soon as they were on screen. When you add vertical scrolling though and have spikes off screen..  X(

(and note, that this was also in the original MM/RM X, so the vertical scrolling applies to it too)

Same, I stopped after 5 minutes.

... And you hadn't beaten the level, which is the very first level of the full game, by then?  :o
