"Yoichi" Wada? Funny, that's the first name of my technical rival on a Persona 3 roleplay over at RPGRPGRevolution (i'm Hunter EX). Wonder if this delay and me noticing the name is an omen...

Anywho, it doesn't bother me that much, as i've.. Well, kinda fallen out with the FF series. 12 wasn't all that great IMHO, 10 egged on after awhile, I only got so (shortly) far with 9, haven't played 8, and 7 didn't entice me. 6 got me stuck on that damn mountain near the beginning of the game (when you have Terra, Locke, and that third guy..), and on 5 I stopped playing after losing interest. I don't think 13 will be the magic number to bring me back, either.  :\

Since we haven't had any FPSes on the Wii except MP3 (which was clunky and singleplayer), it's still worth keeping an eye on, though I agree it doesn't look especially clever.

ANY, you say? Although they are lacking in amount (and fun), there are some here and there. And then there's the somewhat dreaded and unbalanced Call of Duty 3, not to mention World at War was also released for the Wii with online play, though I don't know how good that one is.  :\

The game's got some nice looking graphics for the Wii, but otherwise, and I realize that I may not be able to sleep tonight with how much hate may be piled upon thee, but it just looks like an average FPS with nice graphic effects. Granted, I've only seen those two videos, but still...  :\

.. Then again, I can't talk much as I'm one huge fan of the majorly underrated Timesplitters series, and those are rather average in many means (even if they are the true successors of Goldeneye and Perfect Dark)...

She should be smashing Zero, but alright.

Well, Sigma was instigating the whole Repliforce rebellion thing and Zero killing Iris was one of the many results if you will, so it makes sense to me if she were to try and tear Sigs a new anus.

"Uuuggghhh... W-wateeerrr..." Nexus slowly trudged through the hot desert in his Rikoh form, with no knowledge of where to head. "I'm not.. Gonna live much longer... Maybe Masaru's analyzing abilities will help.." With a poof of smoke covering him, Nexus became Masaru, whose red spiky hair plus ponytail began to wave around in the warm heat. As if noticing something, Nexus deadpanned.

".. Wait, why am I not dehydrated or anything now?" A lightbulb went off above his head as he palm faced. "Of COURSE; Masaru's a [tornado fang]ing reploid, he wouldn't be affected by such things!!" Nexus promptly picked up a rather large rock and slammed his head into it for his stupidity... Only for it to crack in half as the impact barely affected him. "... Note to self: THINK."

Iris' reaction to reading the part of the X4 script where she dies, and later repeated when she learned that Capcom won't even try revive her.

By all means, if I didn't know that was the Gaea Armor, I would've thought that was X mecha-ified.  -u-'

My last post before I log off for tonight; the comic, if continued, takes place in the Sonic game series universe, so characters like Ash the Mongoose don't, and for say won't exist here. Since I can't alter Sonic 3 style sprites worth a crap, though, any characters from the comic universe that I use in the comic will more than likely have different names and personalities.

A major reason for this is that I never really read the comics (only one, really), so I only have my knowledge of the games to go by. Anywho, i'll try to make the next one tomorrow.

This is sort of a spriting test; a sheet for Masaru, minus his cloak. It seems too stiff to me, and I need actual movement animations, but I think it fits his "no [parasitic bomb]" attitude.

I made a 8-bit style sheet of Rikoh in about an hour last night, and then took ten minutes out of my morning to add some little touches. The head and gun-holding styles were based off Cave Story's unique look. Also, he looks like he's missing an arm; see those hands holding the guns under the title? Just pull them over to replace the missing arm.

Spent some time today making this; enjoy this promotional pic for Rikoh and Masaru!

Oi, lots of love for the Double Post feature.  -u-' Anywho, here's an interesting mock-up I decided to make just for the heck of it:

Whipped this up in about 20 minutes, give or take. I decided to do a Christmas-related work like everyone else, so I hope you like!

MERRY CHRISTMAS, AND TO ALL A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!  >U<

Something that you guys should know:
This: http://www.cc2.co.jp/new2/index.html

DS project. Weclome to the World?
Screams .hack here but isn't this .hack//LINK game a PSP one? So there's two different .hack games being made I guess.

Also a countdown too on the website. More info on the DS project most likely.

Probably a game like Phantasy Star Zero with the multiplayer element, but it'd probably be an actual MMO or something akin to the World depicted in the .hack series, seeing as there's no freaky digital weirdness going on with this one. (anyone else also notice the chibi Kite lookalike on the first link?)

The PSP game (odd how they're suddenly directing to the handhelds after all the previous games being on the PS2) seems interesting, but the red-haired teen that I assume is the main character looks like a real.. Well, dopeish loser with anime high-school genericness. With various other characters from the previous games on the pages though, I'd have to guess that this game will contain quite abit of fanservice.  :\

I'll just leave him with the name of Corona (Last name) and the player HAS to give the guy a name. So...

_______ Corona - LaTale

You name him yourself.

Actually I was thinking along the line about a different look for Chris. That's how that design came out.

Alright then it's Nanro, but Dike stays. A believe a certain video game got away with that name for a character.

Sora is a long orange-hair girl from Japan coming to an American school in that girl. If the name is obvious to a certain it's Sora from Digimon.

None of the names bothered me, as I tend to make "similar" characters and multiple versions of them as well. Quite honestly, I saw nothing wrong with the three names either, and i'm glad to see someone remembers the old Digimon before they kept making more seasons and some truly absurd storylines...

Anywho, nice works, keep up the good job and all that respective motivating jazz that could be typed yet not thought of at the time.   :)

Zero / Re: Can someone explain something to me?

Maybe those books I keep seeing mentioned but keep forgetting about touch upon some answers to your questions, but otherwise in-game I don't think they actually go into details about them. I, too, agree that giving an insane old S.O.B. technical immortality, even if it's to torture him forever in the abyss of space, was not a generally good idea in hindsight.

Maybe the original X himself decreed the punishment while he was still "around," wishing to be merciful but failed to realize what might happen later on, or maybe the people in charge then were just not thinking right. I also wonder about Omega, but maybe they didn't wish to destroy Zero's original body or something?  :\

That Megaman Mania preview has me confuzzled; the enemies and backgrounds clearly have a SNES-pallete, yet Mega/Rockman, Cutman, and Woodman are still 8-bitized and relatively the same (minus a rather dark shade of blue for Mega/Rockman).  ???

Rockman Series / Re: It's always the little things.....

Goddamned bats. (Anything that attacks you when you try to jump, causing you to fall into a pit or spikes.)

Specifically, those things with the helicopter blades (prominently seen towards the end of the intro stage to X1). They'd get me all the time there and in Chill Penguin's stage (at least in the GBC version of the stage).

That's why you memorize the flight path and appearance spots; don't know how, but I was always better with the X series in this regard than the Classic.  :)

What gets me are level parts that you have to memorize PIXEL-PERFECTLY, or DIE, Quickman's stage being a prime contender with some parts of X6 coming to mind.   -_-  Enemy-wise, I can handle just about every normal enemy type, but the bosses tend to cause trouble (at least, again, in the Classic series). Of course, once I pull out their weakness, I make thy [twin slasher] face.  bVd

One COULD say it's a fangame, but at times the "playing" seemed abit too... Robotic, if you know what I mean (no puns intended). Granted, you see a brief second of the player killed by Tank Man, but it could just be a clever trick. I'm in the "it's animation" group. And a damn good one at that.

Also, I could bear the music, but it just sounded awful when compared to any official game's music.  :(
