The online is very fun! Though I do see some lag but not enough to drive you crazy.
However you might want to create a powerful weapon, and one your fond of, as I've been beaten by a user of Claws in the Free-of-All matches 4 times in a row (though I was in 2nd place for the first three and 3rd in the last one) as Claws dominate close-range battles and are fast too.

I use the Gaol Blade, though the range isn't all the great it's my strongest weapon at the moment and it's got a powerful charge attack and pretty good at melee attacks. Also I combine it with Invisible attacks to attack people who don't see it coming or can't tell when to dodge some attacks.

Also watch out for the Daybreaker (One-Hit Kill attack) when someone collects all 3 parts and the Mega Laser attack (an ability can use for a limited amount of uses) that does some big damage.

^Haven't seen those episodes beyond the first two episodes.

Started watching it as a friend of mine that works at GameStop told me to watch this show since it was awesome, and after sometime after his suggestion I decided to watch it as many people seem to like it and I've noticed a LOT of fanfics of it on fanfiction.net which surprised me. I'll admit I was skeptical at first, but I actually like the show... sure it's a little corny, but hey is was aimed for younger girls so it's what to be expected. I'm not the target audience, but I like it.

I actually got teary-eyed at the end of the second episode, I'm surprised such a show could send such an impact to me. I've become a fan of this series now and I like to keep on watching it.

The characters are amazing and pretty down-to-earth and can relate a lot to real people, the script is well-written, the animation beautiful, and the setting grand. Not sure who's my favorite character yet.

I'm not exactly sure why you guys described the characters... in such vulgar terms on the previous page. I guess that's how you see them, but I don't.

I wonder how many seasons do they plan on making... seems to popular to fade away anytime soon.

Toonami... how I missed you. :'(
I miss the DBZ opening but I got to see the rest!

A rush of nostalgia hit me... oh how I wish Toonami to come back for good! And I miss Tom 3.0, he has the best appearance of Tom ever! Never really understood the Tom 4.0 look that reminded me of that train character.

Best April Fool's Day special ever... :'(
This day make the whole year of 2012 special to me.

Today was the best April Fool's Day ever! Nothing will top today!

The Nintendo video was awesome and Toonami coming back on adult swim as a special was... just... I'm so happy to get to see Toonami one more time with Steve Blum coming back to voice Tom 3.0 with the Bleach Toonami commercial, DVD offers, and original game review on Mass Effect 3. Just seeing the review makes me want to get it!

2012 is the best year ever!!!

Oh my! That was a close call! I almost read from the spoiler tag about the game's ending!

As interesting as I am with learning about what happens in the game, I'll wait for when the game comes out in the stats. It's coming out this Summer or Fall?

I manage to beat Boss Rush mode, on Easy which unlocks Normal and Hard more after that. I was using the Gaol Blade, though I was running out on the Drink of Gods and I had to use the Health Recovery abilities to survive to the end.

Also for the Treasure Hunt challenges, I'm about done with Palutena. Hades is going to be a killer to get done.

Also I wish there was a way to save the videos on Nintendo Video, just not the same when some of the videos use the 3DS effect greatly like the Kid Icarus anime ones!

I've never played any of the original Devil May Cry games, but they do interest me. Also there's a DMC HD Collection for the PS3 that has all 4 games on it, right? Maybe I should get that to try out the series?

Though I haven't played any of the Devil May Cry games, but hearing a lot about its gameplay and some of Dante's personality and looking at this reboot alternate universe of the game even I can tell this is a bad game.

Well gameplay, though I haven't seen it, from what I've heard sounds good as its own but using a big time name like DMC and counting it part of the franchise... not the most wisest of decisions.

If I want to make a game, but want to make it better I like to listen to fans or other gamers to get some ideas to improve... even more own original game to make it fun and enjoyable for everyone.

I will not be buying this DmC game, but I rather have the original DMC since that grabs me more than this. I having seen how Dante acts, but the way you describe his personality, however vague, I'm starting to like his character and like to see the original Dante more than this self-insert.

I mean self-inserts are fine in fanfiction when fans of a series want to be the character themselves or be in the same party as the cast, or self-inserts in game where the player creates their own characters to appear in the story (White Knight Chronicles is a good example) and not going TOO over the top (they suppose to be fun and not to be taken very seriously) but when you do a self-insert of this kind to a video game AND being the main character that you want to be... very bad decision, no words can describe this kind of insult to the fans.

The game will still sell... but not to Capcom's expectations and I hope they realize that. Capcom haven't been making grand business decisions as of late.

Thanks for posting these Vixy! I've seen the first four in English, but I haven't seen the Dinner one yet.

Just saw it, pretty damn funny! What is it with the Japanese media with beautiful girls that can't cook or create disaster when they cook? I know that's not true on all accounts, but you do this type of stereotype... though I don't mind.

It was hilarious and Pit saying "Again" cracked me up, poor guy.

Sorry for bad quality but there are a lot of stealing mofos out there.

This is from your fangame, right? Pretty wicked stage!

I don't mind the low quality, though I do wonder how people make those awesome background images. I know it's layers, but for some pretty cool effect scrolling background I wonder the size and length of the background sprite has to be. Trial and Error!

And I'm taken it as that's a screenshot from the final stages of the game? So much foreboding in that one line you said!

Ciel no Surge

Created by GUST, and made currently for the PS Vita, tells the story of where you, the Player, take care of a girl named Ionasol, nicknamed Ion, who has lost her memories and help her restore her by using fairies called "CHAR" to dive into her mind and restore her lost past. It is also a spiritual successor to the Ar Tonelico series.

Ion is a mysterious girl with amnesia. It’s your job to awaken her memories by connecting Ion to terminals and entering her mind. Inside you’ll see a broken world and repair points which you can mend together by using the power of Ciel. Fix these and you can restore Ion’s memories.

The story of Surge Concerto begins with a solar system with a swelling sun. La Ciel’s residents have two plans to deal with this impending crisis. A group (loosely translated as) the Astronomers are developing a plan to teleport residents to another planet. Meanwhile, a Terrestrial group wants to save the solar system by harnessing the power of song magic. Public opinion is split between the two groups and the fate of the world falls on the president-elect… Ionasol.

Ion lives life on a 24 hour clock (this takes place in real time) and she does her own thing depending on the time of day. You will see Ion eat, sleep, and wash up in her daily routine. Ion also has costumes she can change into. First print copies of Ciel no Surge include a PSN code to download clothes and accessories. Ciel no Surge has other planned downloadable content in the future.

Ion’s hair grows as time passes and she gets more talkative too. Players can also change Ion’s clothes and customize her look.

"Players interact with her by selecting choices using the Vita touch screen, and care for her over a period of three years. Ciel no Surge is the first game in the Surge Concerto series, which Gust say will be spread across multiple platforms." ~ quote from Siliconera article

Building a relationship with Ion and talking to her is one of the key parts of the game.

Ciel no Surge is tied to the Vita’s internal clock so Ion’s actions depend on what time it is. Players can talk to Ion and build a relationship with her. The goal of Ciel no Surge is to restore Ion’s memories, which you’ll do in the Dream World. As Ion’s memories are restored through event scenes in this other world the mystery behind La Ciel will unfold. The bond you make with Ion affects the memory restoration process. Ciel no Surge has other characters Ion can interact with when she leaves her house.

"Reminiscent of Ar tonelico, players will dive into Ion’s mind, which is a world of its own. As a symbol of Ion’s broken heart, the dream world is in ruins. Players will have to repair it with the help of a fairy to restore Ion’s memories. She can recall recipes to use in the real world while interacting with the player." ~ quote from Silinocera article

In the beginning of the game, Ion makes friends with three neighborhood kids – Tabo, Plum, and Cass.
Tabo is a boy with red hair and the first person Ion meets. He is the leader of the trio of children in the article and his parents own the general store. Plum is a young boy with blonde hair and glasses. He’s polite and interested in astronomy. Cass is a girl with silver hair from a wealthy family and is described as tsundere. The children can see Terephanken, an imaginary creature that looks like a dragon.

"Ion lives in her own world and when you power on your system she’ll greet you… unless she’s sleeping. Ciel no Surge is tied to a real world clock and if you want you can eat meals with Ion. Ion will ask players what time you can meet her so you can set a dinner date. Ion will cook and as you play the game she learns how to make more meals., but sweets are always her favorite thing to eat. Ion will try to create items on her own, but she often makes mistakes. Players can give her advice and after Ion creates an item she will ask you out on a date.

Dates take place outside of Ion’s tiny home. One of them is on a beach and if you tap the screen you can talk to Ion. Gust plans on releasing additional items as online DLC that trigger date events." ~ quote from Silinocera article

The Player creates fairies, called CHAR, by scanning barcodes using the Vita's camera feature as each barcode makes different kinds of fairies to use with unique hairstyle, outfit, personality, and combination of all of them. Each fairy with their unique personality can interact with each other game's fairy. Players need to use the CHARs to go into Ion's mind to restore her ruins and her memory.

"Ciel no Surge also has a built in Twitter-like system where players can type short messages called micro quasars." ~ quote from Siliconera article

Deluxe "Agent Package" of the game:

Gust will release free and paid downloadable content for Ciel no Surge. Clothes and extra scenarios will cost money while new motions and voices for the communication part will be free. Ciel no Surge comes out on April 26.

There is also online community features as you can look at other player’s profiles through your friend list which shows how much HymP they have. HymP (Hymmnos Points) let players customize fairies in the game called Char. The game has various hairstyles, clothes, and accessories to buy. Some items can only be unlocked using the Micro Quasar system. Everyday, Chars send energy to a server. All of the energy is combined with other players and if there is enough everyone gets a new costume. And the online feature also helps players gain new costumes for each other for Ion to wear.

I had to copy and paste from the various articles as it was a little too much to write down all the information about the game in my own words, and since it's already there I posted it here to make it easier to get the just of it without going into each articles. Sorry about that and all credits go to the people who wrote the articles and got all the information.

Any one excited for this game to come out?

I think this game is right up Vixy's ally! :3

Arm sleeves and panties, yes please~ <3

I use all of them, as long as I know the moves for them.
Mostly I use Xiba and Siegfried.

Looks just like your Avatar now! Yeah, compare to your previous one which is tamer than this one! Are you trying to set every guy's heart on fire in here Vixy, you vixen you. :3
I approve! And a recipe would be nice to know what you did to make your enchanting character.

Mini mugshots made by Chibisaw.

That's cool! So does the Boss icon turn gray when you defeat them to show your progress? Can't wait to see when the Save Map picture is added in.

It's the skill that he gets from N. Mosquito. Each shadow does damage.

I see, that's interesting. Good way to cover your rear.

You can find that on the video descriptions.

Read it... so that's Black Zero specs. Interesting, and I'm liking it!
Black Zero Specs:
Unlimited Dash length;
Can turn around while dashing;
Shock Buffer (Faster Hit Recovery);
Have access to past skills:
X4 - Raijingeki, Tenkuuha (stronger shot eraser)
X5 - Crescent-Sword, F-Splasher, E-Blade, C-Flasher

You don't mind me posting the specs from your video description?

There are a couple upgrades to increase saber energy.

Cool! Good to know!

Empty Slot will have a picture of the area you saved and the 9 square will show the bosses you defeated.

Ah! So that's what that's for! I'm guessing your focuses your time on the gameplay physics before you add in the last few details to the Save/Load screen, right? Looking really good and well-thought out!

Around a week, bat is like 15 minutes, then a little more as I introduced new mechanics and weapons for enemies to react to.

So it takes around a week to code in new code or scripts for ALL the enemies? :/
Normal enemies like Bats take about 15 minutes to go through the code reviewing it, then updating it, then testing it to make sure nothing breaks the game or causes the enemy to do something they're not suppose to do and see if the code correctly.

Is this ALL handle in one Enemy script or several Enemy scripts focuses on each Enemy type? I'm going with the latter as having ONE HUGE list of code for all enemies so WAY to much to handle and organize without going insane or getting confused where you want to tweak.

A few things I like to say...

Awesome video of the Black Zero gameplay, I like how your cousin started off like a new unexperience player to MMX or platformer games in the video and then suddenly better near the middle to end. By the way what was that move that Zero used? The one where he made red Afterimage of himself and seem to attack twice as fast? An overdrive ability exclusive to Black Armor Zero or a skill Zero gets later on?

What are the abilities of Black and Viral Armor Zero again?

Also how many sprites frames do you have for each enemy and the heroes for the attacks and movements? I like the smooth and fluid movement of the characters... especially Zero's counterattack vanish slash move (forgot the name, I remember in your early videos Zero can spam that move and teleport back and forth on an enemy until it was destroyed of the energy ran out). Also what's the speed of the energy recharge rate? It seems like one second seems to restore 2 - 4 bars of energy for their attacks, give or take and what's the starting level and max level of the energy gauge? Can you increase it like your character's health?

Also I've taken a look at the Load Game screen, and don't recall anyone mentioning it on these boards, but what are those two empty boxes next to X/Zero? The one that says "Empty
Slot" and that 9 Block Box with the white center... what are those for?

And I like how you have the Save/Load Game screen setup with a picture of X/Zero with their current level and their current Armor equipped (like Ultimate X and Body only Phoenix X, and Black Zero) with display of their Lives (do you have a Zero Life Icon yet? It's strange for Zero to share the same Life Icon as X), their Heart/Life Ups gotten, Sub Tanks obtained, Ride Armors acquired, and lastly the last spot setup with the Time you've played, completion rate, and Hunter Rank which I believe is the Difficulty level you mentioned right? Looks really great!

And the last thing I like to ask, how much coding was involved with setting up the enemy AI like that... damn, don't know what to call it... pincer robot around 1:20 in the video with its attack patterns and using the blocks to its advantage, and the standard enemies like the bats. Are there specific Enemy scripts tied to a main Enemy script to handle enemy AI, movement, etcetera of the like?

It's awesome how much work you put into this one game alone! And I can't wait to try it out! 8)

Awesome video! Ultimate Armor looks great! I don't know why but I like the Black colors for Ultimate Armor since X6 better than the Blue one... well it doesn't really matter.

Question about the video, I've noticed Language options... so you plan to support multiple languages? How many do you plan to support? There's English, Portuguese, and Spanish so far... you plan to make a Japanese one as well? Very interesting.

And there's a Navigator too?!

Seriously, this game is looking good!

One thing that I always wonder is... how do people make Game Titles that look very professional? I notice the "Mega Man X: Corrupted" title on the Title Screen and I like the little evil eye behind it which looks like Sigma's eyes (the ones in X5 where he is nearly dead after the final battle) and the sub-title "Corrupted" looks just like the fonts for the Mega Man.

Did you sprite it? Is there a Mega Man X1-3 font style? How do people go about making the outlines and since for the title? I really like to know!
