Alright, with that done, it's time for my 3rd Fortress Boss!
But this one is a double bill update!
You see, at the end of DWII Stage 3, there are 2 teleport capsules, one on each side. The left capsule leads to Ombra. The right capsule leads to Luce. Our hero/ine MUST defeat both bosses to advance.




Name: Ombra

Designation: Fortress Boss (DW2N-FB019)

Background: Ombra was a prototype of what would become Moonstar. His specialty is to hide in the shadows, and wait for the opportune time to strike, and strike fast.
Ombra's main weapon is the Crescent Blade on his right arm, which he uses with deadly precision. He also uses it to deflect most attacks. His ultimate technique, "Darkness Falls", causes the battlefield to be shrouded in darkness, as he slashes away repeatedly. As seen in the second sprite, he's based on the crescent moon.

Character: Speaks in a sort of ninja fashion.

Weakness: "Darkness Falls" seems like a powerful technique... If only... Wait, Meister Slice...





Name: Luce

Designation: Fortress Boss (DW2N-FB020)

Background: DWII found an ancient weapon within some ruins in the far south, and based on the ancient blueprints, he recreated it, and Luce was born. His whole body is covered in ancient patterns, said to grant him great power over the sun.
Luce's main weapon is the glass dome that's his head, from it, he emits a blinding light that blinds and burns his enemies. He also has a Solar Buster, that fires off concentrated sunlight. His ultimate technique, "Yellow Sky Shall Rise", causes the battlefield to be illuminated in blinding sunlight, as he attempts to pelt away with his Solar Buster. As seen in the second sprite, he's based on the sun, with references to Buddhism.

Character: Never speaks. Just grunts.

Weakness: "Yellow Sky Shall Rise" seems like a powerful technique... If only... Wait, Meister Slice...

Name: Guts Man's Ass

Designation: Fortress Boss (DW2N-FB018)

Background: And they said the internet rots the mind...
After the inspiration he got for DW2N-FB017 Spiked-Wall Man MKII, DWII stumbled upon another gem, a certain RS cartoon. And what an inspiration it was, resulting in the creation of Guts Man's Ass (GMA).
GMA's main attack, is to crash his huge ass into anything and anyone, and it's an instant OHKO. And it can come from any direction...

Character: He's an ass, what's more to say?

Weakness: You might think Guts Man's head is the weakness, but in fact, it's just there for being there. The only way to defeat GMA, is to outlast his onslaught. For each miss he does, he gets damaged by one bar of health. Megaman can alternatively shoot at GMA to push him out of the room (The shots do no damage to GMA, they reflect off him, and GMA gets pushed back), but that will take a lot of button-mashing. It's going to be a long battle of attrition...

Alright, with the RMs done, it's time for the FBs!
First up...

Name: Spiked-Wall Man MKII

Designation: Fortress Boss (DW2N-FB017)

Background: At least DWII created this before a Spring Man! Based on a fan video he watched, DWII decided that a room full of spikes is the answer. But just having Megaman fall into a room full of spikes is too fast, and there's no sense of satisfaction, thus, DWII created Spiked-Wall Man MKII (SWM MKII).
SWM MKII has a conveyor belt at the bottom, which can change direction, hoping to get Megaman to crash into the wall spikes. If that doesn't work, the ground can shoot out spikes as well (as seen in the animation above). Although the ground spikes are not instant kill, they do take out a lot of health (half a full energy bar). If that wasn't enough, the spikes on the walls and ceiling can be fired off as well. Megaman has to dodge them all, else... PEW PEW PEW

Character: Character? What character? He's a room full of spikes!

Weakness: There is one spike that is of a different colour during each attack pattern set (I didn't colour that one in, but it would be of a darker grey colour... And it could even be one that's fired off...), perhaps... Penalty Strike?
