Dr. Wily II's eyes widened in disbelief at the words coming out of Giovanni's mouth. When he turned to see Mewtwo, he could see the angish and confusion in Mewtwo's eyes. He slowly lowered his fists, and seemed to go into a sort of slump.

"It... It was all a theory... Nothing more than a theory... I never expected a living specium..."

An hour ago..
Dr. Wily II had been making notes of the earlier battle between Mewtwo and the TR Captain in the lobby. Although he can't put his finger on it, something just didn't feel right during the whole battle.

"Mewtwo... He has always been powerful, no doubt... Even if commanded... However earlier... The attacks, despite doing their intended purpose, felt... Off. Perhaps it was fatigue from last night's psychic assault... Still... Something just doesn't feel right..."

As if by coincidence, Dr. Wily II felt Quickie rushed past him, and towards her room, where he had seen Mewtwo being led into after the battle. The way she sped past, and her sliding halt... Something was up. As he got up to his feet, he could feel the floor beneath him trembling, as if a stampede was approaching. He made his way towards the entrance, and in the distance, could see... Perhaps a mob? However, something behind the mob caught his attention instantly.

"It's him." Dr. Wily II clenched his right fist, and reached for his PokeBalls with his left hand. Throwing them out, a few red flashes... Magnezone, Metagross, Tauros, Fearow and Heatran popped out.

"No more running away." Dr. Wily II adjusted his glasses, as he walked towards the mob, with his 5 Pokemon following closely behind.


Current time...
"HEATRAN!! USE MAGMA STORM!!" A tornado of flames erupted from the ground, throwing some of the Rocket Grunts off-guard. Dr. Wily II had seen Mewtwo heading towards Giovanni's position, however Mewtwo's state was even worse than what he saw earlier. After finally clearing the way of grunts, Dr. Wily II made a mad dash towards Giovanni, fists raised.

"NOT IF I HAVE ANYTHING TO SAY ABOUT IT!!"

(Nah, s'just an innocent mayor person. And is he really more evil than you? I mean, you keep assuming my characters are the best around (nothing's gonna ever keep them down, and whatever)... Tangent is only as powerful as the environment (he stole all of his weapons since all he starts with is the same peashooter S-Buster that Sinos has) and Sinos, because his weaponry is designed to reflect Dr. Danow's powers, has a fatal flaw... )

(Even so, every villian is fascinated by whatever "alien" tech they see that overpowers what they think is their most powerful creation. Sinos beating boforte to a plup just cements that fact. Ok, so maybe I did assume Tangent to be very evil, but given whatever turned him inside out in terms of character... Who knows for sure. )

DWII - Run for their money? I DON'T EVEN PAY YOU!! JUST CAPTURE THE INTRUDER ALREADY!!

Oracle - And so it will be done, Master. *deposits the miter on the console, and drifts off*

As Dr. Wily II watched Oracle Man drift away, he can't help but notice the miter that was brought in. He turned back towards the console, and stared at it. It definitely looked like something from some fantasy. As Dr. Wily II picked it up from the console, he thought he felt a tiny jolt of energy. Dismissing it, and against his better judgement, he decided to wear the miter. Once on top of his head, Dr. Wily II giggled... Then laughed out loud, as he prepared to wave a magic wand.

(So wait... Null² activated Obsidian mode?)

At the Medical Labs, there was utter chaos. The emergency return of a totally busted boforte scared the living daylights out of Medic Man, a first for the medical robot.

Medic - GAH! WHAT IZ THIZZZZZZ!? THIZ IZ BOFORTE!?

As Medic Man frantically gets bandages and additional hydralic fluid reserves, boforte weakly raised his right hand and pointed at the ceiling, as if swearing revenge...

At the underground factory deep beneath the WDS, Wily Fighter had been monitoring the progress of the Zero Joe army. Nearby, Omega Joe is looking at awe at the army that he will command in the future, numbering hundreds... Perhaps even thousands.

WF - Progress is at 50%...

Dr. Wily II had been fidgeting in his evil spinning chair. He wanted to get his hands on Sinos, but the being is way too powerful. Plus he made contact with the Resistance, hence becoming an even bigger problem. Pushing the thought back, Dr. Wily II wanted to contact Hajime for a progress report on the Wily Star II, but the thought of Hajime's animated cards still in his WDS, plus the adamant nature of Hajime's response about them boiled his blood further. Nothing at the moment seemed to be going his way at all...

Until he saw 2 beeps on his main console. And it seemed that they have been beeping for a while, most likely missed due to the battle between Sapph and Taylor. Dr. Wily II checked the first one, and it showed a video feed of Null² fighting some Digimons.

DWII - Hmm. Sapph is resourceful to have found my GLARING program...

Accessing the second beep, it loaded a video feed from... The I.S.S.

DWII - Huh? Is that... Quickie? OH-HOHOHO!! And she's fighting... Fxeni!? BRILLIANT!! Time for her to prove herself!! To me... AND HERSELF!!

The sudden arrival, and subsequent flight caused by the landing of the massive ship caused Dr. Wily II to fly into the Pokemon Center, and hitting a nearby pillar. Rubbing his back in pain, Dr. Wily II watched as Mewtwo engaged the Team Rocket Captain in battle. Wanting to jump in, he noticed that Quickie is giving commands to Mewtwo.

"Hmm... This will be interesting."
