Payne nodded, as he continued to listen.
"Eventually, the cloning process proved tedious... However we were able to create a new life... And it was christened... Mewtwo. Blaine immediately bonded with Mewtwo, almost like a doting father. He read stories to Mewtwo, even taught it math and sciences. Mewtwo was very receptive, and he grew rapidly mentally and physically. Once we showed the results to Giovanni, he was very pleased to say the least.
Of course, it was short-lived. Giovanni revealed his true intent, to use Mewtwo and his psychic prowess to "enslave the world", and that he needed Mewtwo to be more ruthless. Even though myself, Blaine and Mr. Fuji tried very hard to dissuade Giovanni, he still administered steroids to Mewtwo. What happened next...
Mewtwo went on a rampage, overtaken by his primal instinct to destroy. No matter what we did, we could not calm him down... Then a huge explosion... Bodies everywhere... Mewtwo escaped and the Pokemon Mansion was in ruins. Myself, Blaine and Mr. Fuji managed to escape totally unscathed..."

"Alright. The story began about 10 years ago. I was a slightly younger man... Full of scientific ambition... Wanting to use my knowledge of the sciences for the "benefit" of the world. It was that time when Giovanni sent out public invitations to the world's greatest minds... And I was one of them. Under... "Rocket Industries", all the scientists were gathered at the then still standing Pokemon Mansion on Chinnabar Island. No one knew what was going to happen, but Giovanni assured us that what we would be doing, will greatly better the world.
Before long, all the scientists were split up. I was then asked to meet with Giovanni, because of my thesis on Pokemon mind tapping. During that time, I was a very different man... One that held no regards for a Pokemon's self worth.... That Pokemon were merely tools for experimentation. Giovanni wanted me to head a project for the mind tapping, and with his funding, my research came into fruitation... I managed to convert one of my personal Pokemon... In a living computer server, devoid of anything."
Dr. Wily II paused for a bit.
(Gonna split this up. Too much stuff to put, phone can't handle it. Also, if there's anything wrong with the timeline of events, please pardon me, and I will retcon once I'm back on my lappie.)

After calming himself down, Dr. Wily II continued.
"I converted an Alakazam, one that I raised since it was an Abra... Personally raised just for my research thesis... During the final stages of the experiment, there was a strange epiphany... It was then that I saw the error of my ways, that Pokemon have the right to make their own choices... But it was already too late for my Alakazam... It was already an empty husk...
With the success of my Alakazam, Giovanni roped me into another experiment, an experiment on cloning. It was there that I met Blaine, as well as Mr. Fuji. It was then revealed that Giovanni had in possession a sample of the legendary Pokemon Mew's DNA, and wanted to clone one for himself. We were initially flabbergasted at his request, however, our own scientific curiosity was too much, hence we agreed to it..."
