"Fine, fine. Dr. Wily II was merely acting as a consultant. You see, we also had another secret project, to be used if Lysandre's plan was... Stopped. We wanted to create an ultimate Pokemon... A Pokemon that would suppass even Xerneas or Yveltal in terms of strength! That's where Dr. Wily II came in. We knew he had links to creating a similar Pokemon, and he gladly agreed to be our professional consultant. He managed to procure some DNA samples of a Pokemon named Mewtwo, and we managed to use those samples to recreate our own Mewtwo! The specimen was age-accelerated so that we could get the best results... However, our funding went into the red... And my team decided it was best to destroy Mewtwo, to which Dr. Wily II was feeling adamant about. We did manage to get some combat data, but it was less than stellar. Can't even learn Dazzling Gleam after all those implants! Dr. Wily II left, and I instructed some Grunts to dispose of the Mewtwo."

Looker hanged up the call, and sighed. He knew the path of justice is always full of twists and dead ends, but this case is being a pain, even for his great detective skills. Sighing, he dialed the number for the Alcatraz warden.

"... Hello? Yea, it's me. Sorry for troubling you. I need to speak with him. Yea, a request from a Champion. I know... I know... I owe you one, thanks."

(Ok, if you really want to pinpoint the timeline, it's either before Wily joined Team Rocket, or he joined Team Flare after the Geosenge catastrophe. There's just enough of a time frame from Geosenge to the Looker quests. Also, if we took the Kalos arc to start right after the end of Mewtwo's trial...)

Joe and Zoroark were sitting outside while Dr. Ladis was having a session with Twoey. Although Trak was outside too, the 2 kept their distance. Things started to feel a tiny bit awkward. They knew Trak would forgive them... They still felt responsible for all the things that happened. When they saw Trak went back into the room to check on Twoey, they decided to leave the Pokemon Center quietly.

Once outside...
"You sure this is really what you want to do? What about the contest you so wanted me to take part in?"

"Sakura's right. The flashing and crowds would spook you. Plus you want to do this too."

"For once, I agree with you. So where are we off to?"

"... Fallarbor Town."

(Yea... I know this is accelerating, but I want to close Joe and Hypnoker up.)
