So... Mixed hordes.
I'm trying to catch a Seviper at Route 8, and normal encounters have not been working. So... I tried to Horde one out using my Sweet Scent Weepinbell. I know it was mentioned that rival species will attack each other, but...

Back in Earl's room, Solosis entered through the room, visibly saddened at the end of all the fun he had. However, upon seeing Earl sitting at the bed, Solosis glomped onto Earl's head. Earl flailed his arms in the air, as the latest messages flood his mind.
"So... The Magician has other voices in his head? The doc did mention something about... Tarot cards I think... I wonder what he meant by that..."
Solosis grew irritated at Earl for forgetting him, and he tried to smother his Trainer. Earl quickly thanked Solosis for all his hard work, which granted him air.

Merrick wants to thank Solosis, but was afraid he'd accidentally swallow some of his gel. Hoping the Pokemon would sense when he was about to run out of air, he goes back to pick up the rest of the toys and books he brought out earlier.Solosis bubbled happily, as he slowly adjusted himself so that he is at Merrick's hairline, allowing the Magician to breathe again. Although he did hear a faint conversation, Solosis can't transmit this new information to Earl, for fear of interception. He just continued to bubble happily.
You really are too kind for your own good.... Death muses, not knowing (or caring) that Solosis might hear her through its Psychic powers. Merrick "innocently" sling the duffel bag onto his back in a vain attempt to shut her up (only to knock more air out of his inflated lungs) as he moves to the scattered areas of the cafeteria where some of the Pokemon had left the borrowed toys behind.

Solosis bubbled happily, the new sights clearly excited it. Just as it was about to wander further, the sudden appearance of the Leafeon frightened it enough to spew some of its gel at its surroundings, as it tried to make haste.
