I'm more annoyed by the way that Microsoft is changing everything else, too.
Hotmail is migrating to Outlook Web App on a similar schedule to this, which is actually alright, but Microsoft isn't making any favors by giving me a lot to do all at once.
Besides, I'm still not sure if I want to use that bloated p-o-s called Skype. I have Skype enabled on Trillian anyway.

Yes, GWFL is a complete pain in the ass.
Even the Steam listings of the Arkham games have it, and the Steamcommunity boards for them are full of complaints about GFWL.
Though, I haven't really experienced it personally, since I have both games on PS3.

They're still enabling games from the traditional port 27063 CDN to HTTP, which benefits towards speed and server loading, and provides diff patches. Anything that still updates as a whole is on the old system. Read more here.
