Been working on the next Blue Valkyrie project, its being done on RPG Maker VX ACE. At this point the story is all worked out as are characters; I'm currently working on building characters/weapons/armor/abilities and items as well as some early map designs.

Few foot notes
-Blue Valkyrie Adventure is a prequel to the two stories that have been shown already.

-The whole story is on Azure Star; the player will be able to explore most of the planet even visiting areas from the other stories like the Azure Islands, Emerald Forest and Jagged Peaks.

-Blue is caught up in a war between the two major powers on Azure Star; meanwhile an ancient force begins to resurface threatening the safety of the Azarians.

-Blue will be joined by two other playable characters both natives from Azure Star.

-Will have some cameo optional boss fights for later in the game perhaps of members of the forum?  8D

Working on the RTP styled Blue; looks pretty good so far.

Really early look at the Azure Star world map; two continents are missing and there a ton of locations and details yet to be added but the upper section shows off the locations from Adventure#1.  :)

Gaming / Project Beast; possible sequel to Demons Souls?
« on: May 05, 2014, 02:11:47 AM »
http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=812089

Not long ago screenshots popped up of a possible new project being developed by FROM Software tentatively called "Project Beast", this should all be taken with a gain of salt at this point but if these are real it certain does look like FROM' excellent dark phantasy style present in King's Field,Shadow Tower/ABYSS, Demons Souls and the Dark Souls series.

Myazaki has gone on record saying he was working on a new project and was only consulting on Dark Souls II so perhaps this is it? Also shotguns; well Shadow Tower Abyss had firearms so not like this is a new thing FROM is doing. Either way I hope this is true, will give me a reason to save up for a PS4.

Guess we'll find out come E3?

Roleplay / Re: RPG Discussion: Character Naming
« on: May 03, 2014, 04:57:50 AM »
Blue's name was thought up after the character was designed and the back story written. Blue has a real name though, although I'm not sure I should spoil it before it becomes relevant. The name Blue was of course based on her primary colour scheme however her home world of Azure Star is a planet of deep blue oceans and blue skys, that's were her nickname Blue came from as well as referencing a certain Blue bomber I grew up playing.

As for the original question, I tend to stick with a few names and reuse them.

Rue - For most of my male protagonists
Mina - For most of my female protagonists
Lynn/Kaden was a DnD character I played in my friend's campaign called Amya (the game was later transitioned into a web comic but I still use the Lynn name on occasion)
Lethe- Another name I use on occasion.

Blue raises an eyebrow as the van came to a sudden stop and the voices from outside grew louder; Blue peaked her head out the door as Arche jumped out and began moving toward the rioters. "He can't be serious..." Blue said softly as Phi chuckled lightly.

"What IS he doing?" As Phi finished Blue hopped out of the van herself and began to follow, if the crowd was as violent as it sounded she knew Arche might not last long on his own; not that she had any better ideas on calming the raging group. "I don't know but it looks like they weren't happy about our little battle!" Blue glanced back as she broke into a run.

Welp, I'm not really satisfied with some of the design of these fruit-tans, but meh I was kinda in a rush anyway.

Strawberry-tan has the best design for me since I've already drew her multiple times and know what to add.

Mmmm banana.   8D

I like them, very cute. =)

Yeah, I'll probably go with a Rattrap next. I went with Silverbolt because he told me he doesn't get to draw him often, and he wants too! XD

Inferno needs more fan art too, he was a riot. "YES MY QUEEN"

I asked Dan the Art Guy for a Silverbolt Commission. I already got a Dragon Megatron one from him. It's spectacular!  0v0

Make sure to get a Rat Trap one!

Transmutate is another favorite of mine. Season 2 in general was the best one really; although I love how season 3 managed to tie things into G1 without mucking up anything.

Speaking of fantastic writing I just picked up the complete Beast Wars box set; It's my favorite Transformers Series next to Animated and G1.

Watched Code of Hero first.   :'(

Well, the first two The Ultimates comics were enjoyable. Then Loeb came in for Ultimates 3 and ruined the comic in ONE issue.

As for why Spectacular was cancelled........ironically enough, I think it had to do with Loeb. Although I could be thinking of Avengers: EMH.

Most of my experience with the Ultimate universe was Spider man and the horrible Ultimate X-man series; I never really got to far into Ultimates before I just dropped everything but Spiderman. Still shame about Spectacular Spiderman; the writing and sense of humor was top notch much like the comics it was based on.

Spectacular Spider man took many of the most enjoyable elements form the Ultimate Spider man comics (and lets be honest Ultimate Spider man was the ONLY good thing to come out of the Ultimate comic Universe)) and made them into something different; I honestly miss it a lot.

Did Marvel ever say why they canceled Spectacular by the way?

Such a catchy theme song, ultimate spider man was not a worthy successor to this at all.  :'(

Um well... to be honest, it's among the easiest games in the series~
And this sucky playthrough was way back in 2009, so yea... > u <

I can more easily reach a 100% time under 1h30min now, or even less. ~w~

Well you are better at the game than I am!  XD

I actually started Super Metroid as well, though I'm still early into the game...

I should have started with Super Metroid; it's really hard to go into it after playing Fusion and Zero Mission; the little changes to the game play really make a difference.

White Beard puffed at his pipe as the drop ship began it's inspection of the promised fleet; the dry dock held three mass produced Mk.I Dark stars; the design brought back some memories for the old android; he had traveled the universe in the original Dark Star until it's destruction at the hands of Blue Valkyrie.

The Mass produced models were slightly better armed, smaller; sleeker and requiring less crew to operate. No match for the Dark Star III of course but more than enough to defend the Wily Star if needed. White Beard glanced to his data pad; a report on repairs for the Dark Star II; the damaged caused by Blue and Shadow Star was extensive and that final jump may have very well been the final nail in the coffin. Luckily WilyII's resources had allowed him to salvage the battle station and it was battle ready again, White Beard had ordered the Dark Star II to jump away back to his original base it's power and factories would be useful encase the plan went south or WilyII decided to end their alliance suddenly.

White Beard's train of thought was interrupted as Tempest Star appeared behind him, white beard trusted this star general more than any other of his creations but his tendency to sneak up on him was something he never got used too.

Tempest Star: Sir; I've finished my inspection of the fleet's A.I. cores.
White Beard: And?
Tempest Star: It's as you thought, the Doctor has installed special programs that will allow him remote control of each ship; the back door you had me install into his database has allowed us to remove the programs. In short, the Dark Star Fleet is yours.
White Beard:Excellent, any word from Aqua Star?
Tempest Star: No; he's turned off his tracker we have no idea where he is.
White Beard: I should have had removed his obsession with Blue after the battle at Azure Star.
Tempest Star: I'm sure he's with her now; WilyII may know of the resistance base location.
White Beard: Hm..it doesn't matter for now I have other things to focus on, I'm curious as to how Blue absorbs so many elements and my attempts to mimic this have been--less than successful.
Tempest Star: You plan to capture her then?
White Beard: Aye; that won't be easy with her new allies luckily WilyII is only aware of her precursor origins and likely won't interfere outside helping my efforts. If I can study her design directly I can produce an army of robots with that power, robots greater than even the Guard series.
Tempest Star: There is one more thing to report, it seems there's been some intruders according to the Buccaneers working at the facility but WilyII is keeping them away from sensitive areas.
White Beard: WilyII isn't a fool; tell the crew to keep an eye out for now. Hopefully I am being paranoid and WilyII will honor our agreement.
Tempest Star: Yes captain.

A large chunk? Just wipe it out completely. :P

Totally helps with ecosystems. 8D

Yeah whats a few tidal waves right? 8D

Hey think about it this way,  Kirby's and Sonic's moon is still half destroyed and their world are okay.

True; I forgot about the cannon hidden in Sonic Adventure 2's moon and Kirby often causes cosmic level destruction in his battles.

GO BLUE GO!

One adventure ends and another begins!

Tempest Star: Captain sensors picked up a huge explosion at the Azarian Moon, Shadow Star's signal has also vanished; it would appear Blue was successful.
White Beard: Arrr--good riddance. Whats the status of our jump drive?
Buccaneer: Sir! Hull integrity is at 60% but we can still jump.
White Beard: Arrr-set course for the meeting place right away then.
Buccaneer: Sir!

Tempest Star: Captain?
White Beard: We lost more than 80% of our troops, the Dark Star II may be damaged beyond repair and our resources are at an all time low; the Omni-Gem will be key to our recovery. Besides, I have my end of the deal to keep; now over see the repairs I want that hull breach patched up before we arrive.
Tempest Star: Yes captain.

*The Screen Flickers On*
Computer: Incoming communication---
White Beard: Put it through.
????: Ah captain finally, I've been trying to get through to you all day.
White Beard: My apologies, there was some...complications in the plan.
????: Nothing you couldn't handle I hope captain.
White Beard: A costly victory to be sure but I have the Omni-Gem as I promised.
????: Excellent, if it is as powerful as you claim---
White Beard: It is-I just witnessed that power first hand, now about your end of the bargain.
????: Of course; construction on the Dark Star Mk.III is nearly complete once that is finished my workers will begin work on three Dark Star I mass production units. We will have quite the fleet when all is said and done.
White Beard: Arrr...excellent I think this is the beginning of a wonderful partnership! I will be in system in a few days.
????: I look forward to meeting you in person finally.

Blue: Computer can you track the Dark Star?
Computer: Yes-they are heading toward a world several light years away.
Blue: Plot a course for the auto-pilot and prepare for launch.

The End!

Blue takes the stolen Drop ship from adventure#1 and uses the auto-pilot to track White Beard to RMPM where her place in the Wilypocolypse begins. Sorry this took so long to finish but I'm glad I made these it was fun to do and expand on Blue's story, it seems like people enjoyed these so Adventure#3 will be made in the future once Wilypocolypse advances enough; the members of RMPM will be heavily involved in that storyline.

In the meantime between RP updates I'll have a few projects I want to work on including an RPGMaker project that will be a Origin story of sorts.

Bye bye moon. D:

That was an epic battle, Kirby was sucking on my brain throughout. XD

Kirby was a huge inspiration for Blue's world; she and Kirby will team up someday I promise. Was thinking of taking off a large chunk of the moon but that might cause horrific death on Azure Star.  8D

Final Boss - Shadow Star Soul
Theme - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2dgBoimqWbA&list=PL33954FBF28AF09BE&index=32

Infusing a huge amount of dark elemental energy into himself Shadow Star's super structure is heavily altered, while his size change makes him something of a larger target his ability to control darkness is increased ten fold.

Attack#1: Ultimate Shadow Buster

Shadow Star shoots two fully charged buster shots in rapid succession; both can be absorbed by Blue's Crystal Shield to charge her final strike.

Attack#2:Shadow Arm

Shadow Star extends his arms into wormholes, the hands appear at random locations and fire at Blue with small shadow bolts. The projectiles can be absorbed by the Crystal Shield.

Attack#3:Wing Spear

Shadow Star Teleports to the center of the screen and his crystal wings extend like blades; Blue can avoid the attack by staying in certain locations.

Attack#4:Teleport

Shadow Star teleports randomly around the area three times like Nightmare or Marx from Kirby.

Attack#5:Black hole

Shadow Star's ultimate attack; the black hole sucks debris toward the attack the debris can damage Blue and being sucked into the black hole is an instant death.

As the two battle across Azure Star's moon Blue absorbs energy from Shadow Star's attacks and in a final clash...

Blue: AAAAAAH!
Shadow Star: W-what?!

Shadow Star: I-It can't end like-th-this....

((Ending Next update))
